I met another customer at the entrance with the same complaint who also called ahead. I wonder if the owner/management is aware that their employees leave work early. Are they getting paid for a full day's work? I hope not! When I worked retail, we were not allowed to lock up until closing time and we had to provide service to any customers remaining in the store. Then we were allowed close. After that we worked to clean and prepare for the next business day. That's how to run a retail business.

The moment you walk in, the husband and wife owners treat you like old friends. They are friendly, funny and extremely knowledgeable. They appraised everything and fixed my wedding band, which had a lose diamond, for a fraction of what others quoted me for just the flatware appraisal! The appraisal was done quickly and accurately. They even remembered my face when I came to pick up my rings and asked about topics we spoke of on my first visit-so personable and sweet :) The store is extremely clean and welcoming. They have a beautiful assortment of all kinds of jewelry. I only wish I had more money to buy all their beautiful things! If I am ever on the hunt for a one of a kind piece, this will be my first stop. The owners are trustworthy and patient. I was able to see them interact with a couple picking out a wedding band and it was very special. They did not pressure them but instead listened to their wants and worked with them to find something perfect. I had such a nice experience with Ferdinand's, I strongly recommend them to everyone. Bill showed him several loose stones and even let my sweetie look at them through the scope so he could understand why the stones were rated as they were - a very cool experience for him! He was also shown a selection of settings that fit what he was looking for, but he didn't end up selecting any of them. As luck would have it, Bill had just completed a ring in a custom setting for someone else and had it to show my fiance. It was a one-of-a-kind, hand forged piece that was very unique. It wasn't a hard sell for Bill as my fiance thought it was absolutely perfect for me. Two weeks later, it was complete and I got a surprise proposal! The service my fiance received was just exactly what my experiences at Ferdinand have always been. The staff is so courteous and knowledgeable, and they take the time to really explain to you what you're looking at. Bill also explained the information on the appraisal so we wouldn't have any problems when we went to insure the ring. They made a nerve-wracking experience much easier for my sweetie, and I am so happy with the way my ring turned out. I really can't say enough nice things about Ferdinand Jewelers!

They have the standard toy section, some collars, crates, treats, etc. It's not a big as the other chain pet stores so you don't have a massive selection to choose from. They have a frequent member card- and depending on the type of brand of food you buy, you get a bag free after a certain number of bags purchased. They gave me a free sample bag of food too! The website also has coupons so you can get free items with purchases. People working there were very nice and always asked if I needed any help. Definitely coming back to buy my pup's food here.
