I surprised Mom with a blooming hanging plant present in my purchase. I now have fresh squash to use in a pasta dish and local honey to add to my weekly tea and toast. The staff at this market are friendly and helpful. The market is clean and organized looking. All of the items in stock looked fresh and were easy to see the price of. On this visit, the market had available cantaloupe melons, watermelon, peaches, pole beans, cucumbers, red and green tomatoes, jalapeño peppers, green bell peppers, onions, sweet corn and a few other fruits and vegetables. There also were cold beverages in a refrigerated cooler. They will be having more and more every weekend. If you are looking for a particular item that you don't see, just let them know and they will try to get it for you. There are some farm animals to see here; goats, cows and pigs. They also have guided tours of the farm, so if you are interested, ask about the details. In addition, they sell handmade crafts that are unique, as well as t-shirts for infants, children and adults. Of interest is an upstairs museum. If you get a chance, make sure you go look. This family business is open weekends, on Saturdays and Sundays, from 10am to 6pm. They have private lot parking. All sales are cash only.

" I hope if you have any inquiries for this store you don't call because if this is the kind of service they give over the phone without even knowing why someone is calling, I can only imagine how horrendous their face-to-face must be.
