The food was fresh and delicious. My partner ordered beef burger. She was very happy that the side salad was very fresh and enjoyed her beef burger. I had a grilled chicken focaccia with side fries. Unfortunately the chicken was just warm but other than that it was delicious. Fries were very nice. Coffee was good too. Final verdict: we would stop here again when travelling nearby.

I had a steak and due to my long lasting hate affair with tomatoes, I asked for a different sauce and settled on a red wine jus. What followed was their special triple thickness home cut chips, heavily battered (but not oily) onion rings and one of the best steaks I've tasted. The food was REALLY good, in fact probably one of the top 10 steaks I have had in a NZ restaurant and the chocolate dessert was a masterpiece in flavour combinations.
