Gosh, I used to love this place. Took my team and clients all the time - there were weeks we went…read morethree times. Even had the whole family for the holiday dinner here. Then: ownership chance and everything went downhill. A shame really. As the place is so conveniently located from our German home, I tried. I really wanted to at least like it. I was so disappointed from both service and food - I will not go again and can not recommend dining here.

Sayn ist schlechthin der Ort meiner Vorfahren mütterlicherseits. Besonders in den Siebziger Jahren war den Lindenhof immer wenn ich in Sayn war das Lokal meiner Wahl. Besonder das Rumpsteak mit entsprechenden Beilagen hatte es mir angetan. Sehr oft habe ich von dem köstlichen Fohr-Pils etwas zu viel genascht. So werde ich denn heute nach langer Zeit dort einmal wieder freudigen Herzens einkehren und mich kulinarisch verwöhnen lassen. read more

Immer wenn es sich einrichten läßt und wir in Sayn sind, gehen wir hier Essen. Ein kleines Lokal im schönen Sayn mit wirklich erstklassiger Küche zu moderaten Preisen. Wir waren hier noch nie enttäuscht das Essen ist überaus lecker, der Service ist freundlich und zuvorkommend bis familiär wirklich einen Ausflug wert (gibt ja genug in Sayn zu sehen :-) ) read more

Our first time to stay in a hotel run by Abtei Sayn is a super experience especially with our breakfast at Lindenhof Sayn, a business run by the same staff. Nice people, elegant decoration, tasty and rich food, beautiful view... I cannot help sharing it with you! read more
