Great little local chemist located in Abronhill shopping centre…read more This shop does not carry a great deal of stock but does have a small selection of gifts, some jewelery, hair products and baby products such as dummies, bibs etc. It's main purpose is providing the local comunity with medicines and advice which it does very well. They offer a prescription collection service free of charge which means that you do not have to pick it up from the docors surgery as they do this for you. It also means that all you have to do is drop in to get your medicine and avoid having to wait about while your prescription is make up as it is ready and waiting for you. The shop is bright and pleasant and the staff are polite, efficent and helpfull. Very handy for local residents.

On my initial visit the Customer Service from one person was extremely good, however, upon returning to order my two bridesmaid dresses the service received by a different person was appalling and I left the shop extremely upset. I got married in April 2010 and to date I am still awaiting a phone call informing me my veil has arrived. I wrote a letter informing the owners of my experience, who were disappointed to learn of my comments; however, I was also informed they were surprised I did not enquire as to the whereabouts of my veil and they have a large number of brides on a weekly basis. Surely, wouldn't you expect first class service in purchasing attire for the biggest day of your life, whether they have a large number of brides on a weekly basis or not, and not just to be treated as a number? As you are putting your trust on one shop isn't it their job to ensure you are kitted out and have everything for your big day as planning a wedding is hectic enough for a bride? Sadly, I would not recommend this store.
