After retiring from my career in the Fire Service, I needed to decrease expenses Immediately. Although I had already paid for two time shares, one of those expenses included the maintenance costs I had on both of them. Although I was able to give one of the timeshares back, the other was still too expensive to maintain. So, I received an offer to trade my remaining timeshare in for another offer that included no maintenance costs. Eager to proceed with this option, I signed the required paperwork. To my complete and utter shock, approximately one year after I signed the paperwork, I received a bill for over $1400 for maintenance costs. Certain that this was just a mistake I made every attempt to rectify the matter but to no avail. So I selected Lexus legal as a means by which two get out of the agreement. Soon after making the selection, I was assigned a representative by the name of Anaysa Alsina who assisted me in the process. We entered a timeshare agreement in 2019 with the intention of using it for visiting Washington, DC. It was for the even number years. We could not use it in 2020 due to Covid and then my wife developed a tumor in her inner ear which destroyed her sense of balance and made it difficult for her to walk.
