I visited the book store for the first time this week. I plan to go back again before the end of the week. The ladies were VERY helpful and kind. I was amazed at the variety of items in the store. I totally agree with the previous reviews for the past. However, the ladies must have had some training because the last time I was there, they were both very pleasant and helpful. Same staff as before, much improved attitude and customer service. They even gave me a discount on a pen that wasn't on sale because they had sold out of the one I wanted. I go there mostly for boxed cards, but occasionally for gift books for children. read more

My experience was the same as the other reviews. Totally ignored until I went to the desk and asked for help. My husband and I decided to act befuddled, which we were, and look like we were searching for something. We stayed near the desk. No response. I gave 2 stars, because when I DID ask, someone quite pleasant did try to assist us. read more

I wanted to give less than a star but you have to at least give one to give a review. They call themselves Christian, that's a joke. Upon entering I said "hello" to the lady at the counter to which I received a grunt in return. The second associate gave me a once over then asked if I needed help finding something. I told her no I was just looking cause I had never been in before. Heard a man come in with some kind of order and heard how rudely he was spoken to. Tried again to engage the lady at the counter and was completely ignored. At this point I was done, told her how rude I though they were and stated I would never return. Since have heard others have experienced this rudeness. Supposed to be a Christian book store, they can keep this kind of Christianity. read more

The title of the store says it all-Resources. This used to be a great store for books, CDs, etc. Now it is a warehouse for the other store in the Niles Mall. Last time I went there, there were boxes all over the store and they are still selling outdated stuff- they charge 20 bucks for CDs that are 30 years old! When I went there for a newer Cd- they didn't have it-this store is stuck in 1990. The staff was rude and ignore people in there. Overpriced , but since this is the only Christian store in the area, sometimes you have to go there if you need something Walmart or Best Buy doesnt carry (music, DVD wise) unless you want to wait and get it on amazon. The Salem store gets ignored for the Niles one, and the Niles one is all plaques and gift items like that. I wish there was a better Christian store in the area that'll treat people nice and have good selection. read more
