Tried to exchange something that was wrong size and defective. It says on a receipt that you can exchange an item that is defective,but the cashier with a long dark hair said I was lying to her when the package wasn't even open,but you could tell stitching was messed up. Never coming back again and don't recommend it. Horrible and rude service, even tho store itself is good, but sale assistants are standoffish and will ask you 20 times within 20 minutes if you are doing okay. I will find other places to buy stuff online, but not coming back to put up with rude service.This. Update: tried to call the customer service line given in response from LD bellow. Customer service rep said they only deal with online orders and I should call the store for assistance. I called the store and it turned that person who refused to do exchange for the same product and was rude about it was the manager of the store. She was just as rude on a phone and kept interrupting me. After that I just realized that I am going to stay away from this store all together. Oh Cheesus. So, I've passed this place several times driving on the interstate. It's really the "Jesus restores, pornography destroys" billboard posted in protest near the store that really made me want to stop by and say hi. Who are these people that post such signs? And why are they usually busted for doing extacly what they condemn? SMH Moving on. . . They really do check your ID at the door. It's a comfortorable environment, and there were a couple of women there to assist me. I received a lot of help here, but felt that some of the items recommened to me were on the pricey side. Don't get me wrong, quality is imporant. Who wants to buy a toy only to have it destroyed in a couple of months? Receommending mid-range price options might be cooler though. So, novelities, toys, lube, DVD, other fun treasures may be found here. I thought the prices fair, and they also offer customer appreciation deals after you spend a certain amount. Please be careful of your purchases as all sales are final. This was actually my first introduction to Lions Den. Apparently it is a chain with stores in several states. Apparently, there is a local pastor who has some extreme psychosexual issues who is trying to take them to court because they sell products that might allow someone to achieve sexual satisfaction without feeling an overwhelming sense of religious guilt. Instead of using his time to feed the hungry or help the homeless, he has chosen to attack a business for selling products he deems obscene. Therefore, you should make a point to stop in and support this business! I live in Lawrence, KS, and travel to Salina in February, May, August and November for a quarterly meeting. I just love the Lion's Den. I haven't stopped in for a visit in about a year, but I have plans to stop b tomorrow evening after dinner at Brookville. I sure hope that same lady is working the store. She's so friendly and knowledgeable about the merchandise in the store. I've never, ever felt embarrassed about asking for exactly what I'm hoping to find. It's so much fun. ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS bring your driver's license with you when you visit the store. If Lion's Den personnel is caught allowing someone in the store without checking their license first, they could be shut down. I'm looking forward to continuing to support this place.
