Under new ownership and management, Lipoa Laundry Center is much cleaner and better maintained than before. A bit pricey, however.

I hope I never have to goto this laundry center again, the only reason I had to was because the unit that I rented that was suppose to have working washer was broken prior to our arrival. This laundry center was clean, the machines were fairly clean. No issues. read more

In the middle of a 10-day Hawaiian vacation, we needed to find an outside laundry wash and fold option or pay a small fortune to get it done at the hotel. So after we landed in Maui, I googled places near the Marriott in Wailea and found this place 10 minutes from the hotel. We smartly stopped off on the drive to the hotel and dropped off our laundry, keeping just enough to hit the pool. The owner was awesome, and even got our clothes done in the same day. And the price was probably equivalent to washing 2 or 3 shirts and a bathing suit at the Marriott. Would highly recommend! read more

I went here while on vacation to wash all my clothes for the remainder of the trip. This place is a dump. Most of the machines are moldy and broken. The atmosphere is just "awkward". I wouldn't recommend washing here if your on vacation. Kind of ruins the golden image of Maui. read more

Last day of trip (full day and flying out the next day). I just spent a ton on handicap luggage. The kind you can steadily wheel and weighs a fraction of the big boys all the while making "travel light possible". Compartments make a difference ...anyway the difference was so much so that my chronic over packing resulted in "under packing" and 3 days before my 2 week trip concluded I found myself on a beautiful island without a clean suit! I also smelled the beach mixed with the lovely smells of a humid culture and dirty clothes bagged together for weeks. I could not stand to wear a dirty piece again. Also, I refused to ruin luggage and have to sterilize it and pray the sand is gone before the next vacation to New York. Lucky for me, after asking the hotel for a DIY facility and their continued offer to wash clothes for 5 dollars ER piece of underwear I find this little gem. I stopped at the pharmacy in the lot and bought some sis assuming my final afternoon would be spent at a coin op when he two amazing woman there offered to not only help but wash and fold my clothes and then deliver them to my hotel. I felt like the Hawaii Gods were happy with me and my karma was aligned. I already had my suit case with me and was able to turn it all over to the the two very kind and generous woman and within a couple hours got a call that my suitcase had arrived. Concerned that my clothes did not I investigated and learned they had packed for me. Nothing better than a hard fought vacation and a chance to go home and just empty my suitcase and not do a a good 10 loads of laundry. Hooray! Thank you! read more

The price isn't bad like the ones in Kahului. It's $2.50 to wash in a regular top loader. $1.00 for 5 minutes on the dryer and then it's 3 minutes for $0.25 after that. It's not a brand new laundromat, but it's clean enough. Some of the vending machines and arcade games don't work, and they only take quarters. The lady who works there is nice and considerate and thinks about the customers' safety and belongings and warns you not to leave them around, and shows you how to run the machines if you're not sure. I think it's reasonable. read more

Want dry clothes? $1.00 only gets you 5 minutes. Need more time (of course you will) then each extra quarter gets you 3 additional minutes. $3 for only 30 minutes and still damp towel? Lame. read more

I wanted to like this place so badly but I just don't. First off they washed a tie dye dress of mine with some of my towels and sweaters ruining two towels and my favorite j. Crew cardigan. And they "lost" one of my towels. I mean I should have told them to wash the dress separately, that was my fault I can admit that. But what really soured me was their response stating that was I sure that I actually dropped off the towel? And that I was free to look at their camera to see if I actually dropped the towel off. I'm not about to spend my time looking at a videotape for a $10 Costco towel. It is the principle of the thing. She kept claiming that they were not a dry cleaners and that they were not responsible for any of my ruined things or my "missing" items. They never said "sorry we ruined your stuff" they never asked me what they could do to make it right. I mean if it was my business I would have at least given the person a heads up when they picked up their stuff that some of their stuff was ruined. I got nothing except paying $57 to wash stuff that was ruined or lost in the end. I was truly disappointed because it is an awesome convenience that is close to my house and they just ruined it for me. I can't recommend them to anyone else and I can't in good conscience return there read more

Had to do laundry while staying in Maui for 7 days, the closest one to our hotel. This place was sort of run down damp towels in front of some of big washers. The 2 ladies behind the counter definitely not interested in helping you and looked less than pleasant and one on her phone the whole time. We needed a bag to out our laundered clothes in and asked she said .25 cents. Went back gave her .30 cents and she handed the bag didn't look up from her phone and kept the change. :/ *_* but hey we got our laundry done...go knowing you have no options except to lay an arm and a leg at your hotel. read more

Great place to go, very clean and $10 you can wash and dry a large load. A little warm in there but clean and safe.

Very happy with trying this business. Seems the fluff and fold place in Wailea no longer exists so we tried this place to get our cold weather travel clothes clean before our trip home. The price was fair (10lb minimum which we didn't meet but still considered it a bargain). Worker (maybe owner?) behind the counter who took my clothes was super nice and accommodating. She offered to have it ready same day! We went for some shave ice and a round of putt putt and our clothes were ready! Highly recommended. Btw, be prepared with cash. read more

This was the first time I have encountered a rude person in Hawaii. The little lady working accosted me at 3:30 and said " We close at 5:00". Implying that I came to late to do laundry, which I didn't. There were broken machines to go with the rude little lady. My advice is to do your clothes somewhere else. read more

They'll get the job done nicely but their dry cleaning wasn't cheap and took 3 days: $26 for a pair of slacks, a shirt, and a suit jacket. Center appears clean and employees are friendly. read more

We are so happy to do d this place. I don't know why it has 3 stars. It was clean and most machines are new. The lady working there was so friendly and helpful. If you are on this side of Maui this is the lamdromat to use. read more

Terrible customer service. I stopped in to dry some clothes, as my dryer wasn't working. I got there 45 minutes before closing and was told they were closed. The last wash starts at 4pm. I let the attendant know that I only needed the dryer and would be out before closing time. She refused to let me. Needless to say, I won't be back. read more

Find somewhere else. Too expensive and the dryers don't work well (or at least mine didn't). $2.50 to wash and $1 to dry. Problem is, that dollar only gets you five minutes. After that it's 25 cents per three minutes. I plugged a good three dollars worth of quarters in each dryer (on high) and my clothes were still semi damp when they came out. I was in dire need of a quick wash and dry and could not go sooner because I had to put my kids to bed then visit this place. I went there at 8:15 but they close at 9am. I tried to haggle a bit with the guy there but he refused to let me dry. Anyway, I realized that they do wash and fold, so I asked if he could do that which he agreed to. I washed the clothes myself though. I asked him the price, he said $1.29. I was like what? $1.29 for everything? Wow, Maui must be so cheap! However, it was $1.29 per pound. Which still seemed fine. On probing, he volunteered that it was minimum 10 lbs, then when I asked if he could put the rest of our load for wash, the price went up to $1.69 per lb if it includes washing. Anyway, I left my clothes in the washer and the next day they were folded nicely. He said they were around 12 lbs, I didn't really believe him but I didn't ask to weigh the clothes, was just happy to have them washed dried and folded. Wish I had come here sooner. It was the only laundromat close to our Wailea resort that was open that late. read more

Terrible customer service! I used one of the large washers and it was so crudded up with soap, I had to wash my item twice. When I told the attendant, she couldn't be bothered. She did not offer to pay for the second wash. Customer service is not their thing! I would not recommend this place. read more

Washer broke so needed to find a place to wash. Nice place. Guy behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. Looked around and these were the best prices. Worth the drive out then just go to the beach! read more
