Everything I've tried so far at liquid earth. Their philly cheezephake is to die for, the Reuben is great, vegan mac salad is excellent, and also the vegan oatmeal chocolate chip cookie. Also the smoothies are good I can't recall which ones I've tried. The reason I took off a star is because of the inconsistency. The 1st time we had the philly it was great, second time we ordered the same thing the bread was stale, and when we ordered the Reuben their were overdone pieces of tofu which gave it a weird taste. My wife and I ate here on a weekend getaway and absolutely LOVED it! Amazing vegan food! They have tons of GF and RAW options for me and decadent indulgences like a vegan "bacon" club and chocolate brownies for my wife! The green juice was also delicious and I was served a great portion for the price! To top it off everything was beautifully presented! Been a few times. Nice little well kept secret. Fast customer service. Very nice. Calming atmosphere. Only con: it's not the cleanest. I had been trying to get in the doors for quite a while; their target clientele are definitely not morning people as I've never been let in he doors before 11:00am. However, on one fine morning I was on my home from Fells Point a little later than usual and hit up Liquid Earth for a delicious green smoothie. I'll have to go back sometime for their vegan entrees and desserts as they look absolutely delectable, however I was very content to sip my smoothly slowly followed by a cup of hot water and lemon to counterbalance the frigid winter day. I was walking along the harbor after a short day's work and decided to treat myself to a nice dinner before I took the train back to NYC. I logged into yelp and typed vegetarian. Liquid earth was the first place to come up and it was only 4 blocks from where I was and in the direction I was walking. I stopped in and it seemed to be a nice quite place to have a great vegetarian meal. When i walked in the waiter greeted me with a warm welcome and told me about the specials. To start I ordered the white bean soup. The soup was so tasty. Not too much salt, and the perfect amount of seasonings. You would swear it was made with chicken stock. I took the waiter's advice and ordered the special. It was a brown rice burger with bean sprouts, avocado, tomato, and green cabbage as a bun (it wasn't a bun per say, it was more of a delivery method to your mouth). The burger was cooked to perfection. I have had many 'veggie burgers' but absolutely none of them came close to what this burger was. I honestly couldn't believe how great this place was and it was very inviting. I can't wait to come back to Baltimore so I can try something else. read more

We have had such wonderful experiences eating at Liquid Earth in Bmore. The environment inside is funky and easygoing. The food is prepared both perfectly and quickly, which is good because you'll want it ASAP. Also, this place is great for those who eat with vegans and vegetarians but are used to meat, as the sandwiches are so well made and tasty that you won't be missing meat. The staff and chefs are so sweet and give you very personalized service and attention (and have great music taste). THEN if your awesome entree wasn't enough, they have delectable sweet treats to finish the meal. All of this for a very reasonable price! Highly recommend to anyone, not just vegan/vegetarian. Yelp is telling me to finish my review so I guess I shall. I was walking my dog and asked before I came in if I could have dogs inside. They said no. I asked if I could order and pay then wait outside the door to have them bring me out my drink. Begrudgingly they said yes. Sorry, I've worked in sales and customer service for a long time. If a customer wants to give you business and asks that you step outside ten feet to deliver the order, it's probably a good idea to say absolutely with a smile on your face. The guy wouldn't even walk the ten feet, as I was fixing my dog's leash, he made me come to the door to get the to go order. It was a good drink but service not so much. read more

I'm giving this place five stars for the juice- SO GOOD! They really give you a generous serving, and the price is reasonable. Two thumbs up!! The food is pretty good as well- it's vegetarian/vegan, so a great place to take friends who don't eat meat. I've had the rice and beans (very good), garden salad with Moroccan soup (also tasty), and the hummus appetizer (good). Pass on the dessert- juice and plant-based foods are this place's forte. I'll also note that their service was good. The first time I ate here, they forgot our juice order. After bringing it out, our waiter gave us free dessert, which was nice. I frequent Liquid Earth mostly during the week at lunch time. The service is usually very pleasant but today not so much. We were initially overlooked when sitting at the bar to order and the staff seemed particularly bothered when I asked when did the couple behind me come in. There mannerisms were less than professional and sadly this is the first time that my smoothie was tasteless. I nearly opted to not make a review, but having reviewed comments on Yelp regarding others negative customer service, I figured I would make a post. The food is great especially for people who are experimenting with veganism. Customer service adds to a dining experience and is more like to attract repeat customers than good food. When I posted a review on another social site, their response was: "LIQUID EARTH You entered the restaurant conversing on your phone. You sat at the bar still conversing on your phone. It would be rude to interrupt someone whom is conversing on their phone." There were two people in my party. The other person was not on the phone and they still failed to address him as we were sitting at the bar. At the end of the day, as a patron of your establishment, a gesture of any kind is better than simply ignoring someone. But maybe decent customer service is asking for too much. I had a similar experience that others mentioned when you order Togo. We ordered 2 juices and we sat at the bar to wait. As normal ppl when you sit at the bar you start to notice other things on the menu. We then order guacamole and a cupcake as well. It was my friends birthday so I figured they would give it to us on a plate. I mean we are waiting all this time for 2 juices and now The guacamole! They didn't want to put the cupcake on a plate. Hippies, and food sent directly express from Mother Earth. It's good, it's really F$%&ing good, and would turn anyone into a vegetarian, that is as long as they could eat at Liquid Earth every day. The food is extremely satisfying and needless to say very wholesome. The thing I like most about the menu is how adventurous and creative it is. You have the typical veg-head items being offered, but also new and exciting experiments not available anywhere else. I especially liked my smoothie being served in a measuring cup, that made me LOL a little. I've made a handful more visits since my initial review and my star rating hasn't changed. I ordered the amazing Philly Cheese Fake a few more times then ventured off to the BBQ pulled tofu sandwich. The BBQ sandwich was very good but a bit sweet for me so I shared with my friends. They loved it and we all ended up splitting it and eating it with their Philly Cheese Fake sandwiches. It was perfect that way but was a little much by itself for me, I could see if someone loved sweet BBQ how it would be a winner. My next taste adventure was their Not-ham sandwich. The Not-ham is on a lovely wheat roll and has this terrific creamy horseradish sauce on it that's worth the entire sandwich! We've all agreed that if we're sharing we eat the Philly Cheese Fake first then the Not-ham second as although the Philly is great by itself, due to the horseradish sauce it seems less tasty compared to the Not-ham. We've also tried many of their fresh juice drinks. My OJ friend loves all their OJ ones, my ginger fanatic friend loves anything they have with ginger, and my favorite is the Red Pearrot. I'm not sure I can go wrong at Liquid Earth. My friends are making up excuses to drive anywhere near Baltimore so we can stop there for lunch or dinner. The people who work there are extremely relaxed and friendly, and I've never had a problem with service. They're casual but very friendly and when you ask them for something they go out of their way to ensure you're happy. Generally when we stop there we also take at least 1-2 sandwiches to go with us to reheat in the oven a day or two later since we don't live close by. If you ask for a sandwich to go and let them know to pack it for reheating they will happily put the veggies, sauces and other goodies in the sandwich in a separate container from the "meat" and bread so you can just pop the bread and "meat" in the oven for a bit and then make your own sandwich with all their fixings still fresh. I am always looking for good juice spots which are surprisingly hard to find. I arrived at 11:50am and had to wait 10 minutes for them to open. Will need to remember they don't open until noon. I asked them what their most popular juice was and it was the Ginger Cold Snap Cure so i decided to try that one. It is delicious. I was also pleasantly surprised with the prices of the juices (~$6.50) considering I'm used to paying $8/$9. I went right when it opened so I was helped very fast. We visited last night after going to the Baltimore Aquarium. I'm not a vegetarian or a vegan, but I was on a cleanse... So we decided to try it out. The atmosphere is nice, it's a cozy spot with a relaxing feel. We walked right in and chose or own table; it wasn't that busy. I ordered a smoothie and my friend ordered a juice. They were both delicious, but or course I forgot the name of them. I ordered the zucchini spaghetti. My friend ordered one of their salads and a bowl of fruit. She liked the salad and I must say that was the most decorative bowl of fruit I have seen served. It was so cute. My meal was just okay, it wasn't spectacular, but it certainly wasn't nasty. The noodles were made out of zucchini and it was my first time trying those. The sauce was seasoned pretty good, I just wish there was a tad bit more. There were also extra zucchini on the side and mushrooms. The zucchini was flavored well, but I just don't like mushrooms that much. The service was pretty good, no complaints there. It was definitely a fun thing to try, so Id suggest it. It's especially nice to have a place when you are looking to accommodate a friend or new diet. read more

I really enjoyed my visit to liquid earth. It's a small little vegan cafe in fells point. The food is amazing. I had the apple lemonade (all fresh fruit) and the Philly cheese phake ( made with tofu) I'm not a vegetarian but I wanted to try something new and I'm glad I did. The menu was essentially all extremely processed soy products like tofu and fake meats which are terrible for the environment considering the impact of mass production of soy in the Amazon rainforest. Super yummy Reuben sandwich!! I love the vegan and vegetarian options, and the server was super friendly and easy to talk to! Price is reasonable, about $11-12 dollars for most sandwiches. The Reuben has good tempeh, though it's noticeably smaller than the other sandwiches. Not a huge fan of the juices, the ones I've tried were very ginger-y Wish their hours were a bit different (staying open later), but still love it!! read more

Was out enjoying the weather in Fell's Point and dediced to check out this spot based on their juices and smoothie list and I'm so glad I did! It's located off of Aliceanna St in Fell's Point near the Subway. When you walk in, you're greeted by a very friendly and welcoming staff. The decor is very warm and rustic. They have numerous vegeatrian options as well as vegan options. Took me a moment to look over the menu becuase of the options...which all sounded amazing by the way! I opted for the Facelifter which included Honeydew melon, mint, ginger, orange, and grapefruit. The fresh flavor and combination of flavors in the juice were out of bounds delicious! Really enjoyed how they make it fresh at their juice bar...I thought that was pretty cool. Will definelty be returning to try the other juices. The juice baristas made me a drink that instantly put some pep in my step. Seriously I felt 110% better,I was happy in a good mood if I didn't know better I swear someone slipped me Molly. My favorite dish from here was always the salad trio. I don't know why but whenever I walked in the door that is what I would instantly crave. Of course I had to order a juice as well. The juice I would order would be catered to how I was feeling that day. However the "ginger snap" is is my favorite. Sometimes I was hella picky and all of the juice baristas was super accommodating and made me whatever I liked without giving me the side eye. I love the fact that everyone that works here was so chill friendly and nice. They took their time with me without acting like a "holier than thou" vegans I have come across. There are also super well-informed and didn't mind sharing their healthy tips and recipes with me. I thought that was so kind and giving of them. Seriously people. If you're ever in town stop in a Liquid Earth you won't regret it. If you happen to not like it you're more than welcome to blame me. Let me preface this by saying that I am an omnivore...I LOVE my steak, chicken, fish, pork, etc. For serving no meat, though, this place is pretty good and I walk away full everytime. My partner is vegan and I drag him to restaurants all the time that do not cater to him so occasionally I will give in and come here and I never mind because the food is amazing. More specifically the Philly Cheese Phake...it is a HUGE sandwich that is so yummy. Its clearly not real meat, but it is soooooooo good! Even better is the Liquid Earthquake Shake...this is a vegan chocolate smoothie and if I could, I'd drink 3 or 4 in a sitting. It so delicious and unlike anything I've ever had before... My only complaint with the place is I feel like there are days when they just don't decide to open, without any warning. I don't live in town but I visit every month and the last time we went to go on a Saturday during the Fells Point Festival, they were closed. The hours they had posted on their door and the website said they would be open but they weren't for no reason and no sign. While this place has great food for vegans/vegetarians, I totally regret coming here for lunch due to their awful service. Firstly, I would like to point out how difficult it is to have a conversation at this place. This would be our typical conversation: Me: "So what are you doing after lunch" My friend: "I .... Bzzzzz bzzzz car... bzzz oil bzzz" Me: "What did you say" My friend: "I am go.... Bzzzzz bzzzz bzzz change" Me: "Huh" All I am saying is they really need to invest in a soundproof blender, or instead of opening their kitchen... CLOSE IT. Secondly, the waitress we had was extremely inattentive and caused us to think if she wants any tips at all. This is the exact account of what happened today: 1:10PMish: The waitress provided us two glasses of water. We ordered our food as quickly as possible, since we were pressed for time. I had a salad and my friend had the Philly Cheese Phate (Philly Cheese Steak Vegetarian styled). We also got two organic shakes. 1:20PMish: The waitress brought us the shakes we ordered in a measure cup and two small glasses. The shakes was quite enjoyable. 2:20PMish: The waitress did not refill our water or even come to our table for an out. The other table had their food ready and they came after us. We decided to take action by flagging our waitress down. She did not even give out table a glance, so I decided to get out of my chair to confront her at the bar. She said she would check on our order in the kitchen ASAP. 2:30PMish: The waitress told us our food will be ready in 1 min, instead of telling us the truth that she totally screwed up and missed our order. 3 minutes later: Our food finally came. 2:45PMish: We needed to go, so we waved her down again. It took her 2 minutes to get to our table, and I asked for two containers to box our remaining food. 2:50PMish: She gave us the check, a plastic container for the salad, and aluminum foil for the Philly Cheese Phate. I asked her politely to give us a container for the Philly Cheese Phate. 2:55PMish: She came out with another container, we paid for our meal and left the place feeling what da heck just happened. I usually don't write long reviews, but I felt so unwanted in this restaurant. I will definitely not come back to this place ever again. read more
