I was really hesitant to visit here. It looks like a shady dive from the outside mostly because of its dark windows. But inside, it's clean, bright, and friendly.
We stopped in on Friday, which turned out to be karaoke night. Signage indicates that there are lots of other activities throughout the week, too.
The tap list wasn't extensive, but with lagers, Coors, and some cider, you can find something on tap if you want. They also had mixed drinks and shots, which we'll try next time. Also, the food list is pretty decent, with sandwiches, savory snacks, and even a sweet option. Plus, it seems like outside food is welcome; a lot of folks were bringing in pizzas and other eats from nearby restaurants.
Lastly, I was really struck by how clean and bright it was. I hate going to places with sticky floors, spooky dim corners, and infection-inevitable restrooms. This, thankfully, wasn't that.
