Selection was not a lot, especially nothing in section labeled beer. Pet peeve is a bunch of homemade signs on the front doors of a business; heads up "no purses or bags allowed" so ladies be advised. read more

I went into this store around Christmas time and the staff at the time was AMAZING! They had a nice girl ( curly hair and glasses) at the door greeting people and was extremely helpful! The lines were long but the same girl was letting people know which line to go to for faster check out. The cashier I went to was very friendly. I'm from out of town and knew this would be the liquor store I would come to when I'm in town. Fast forward to a week ago same liquor store completely different experience. Cashier (an older lady) acted like it was a chore to do her job. I asked where something was and they pointed to it, like they were too busy to show me. I asked about the very nice girl who helped me and was informed she is no longer there. What a disappointment!! DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE. I live off Walnut Rd., and started coming to this liquor store out of convenience. But now I come back because I truly love their selection and have experienced excellent customer service. They have a great wine selection, a little more expensive than the grocery stores, but with more variety and they often offer tastings. The beer side doesn't have the greatest selection in town, but I met the owner one day and he offered to order me whatever I wanted, so long as I took it on good faith to keep buying it as long as he ordered it. I thought that spoke volumes to the customer service and the fact that these folks are truly trying to tailor their store to their customers, not the other way around like most liquor stores. read more

This place has a growler fill station and a liquor store attached. The growler fill side does have a very very limited selection of bottled beer but you will be disappointed if you come here for anything other than growler fills. The selection was ok. My issue I had was when I scanned the selection they had beers like Sapporo and Guinness Blonde lager on tap, throw away taps in my opinion. When I come to get a growler I want to get something I really can't get in a bottle or something that I can get cheaper by buying it by the growler. That's where I run into the next issue. Their pricing is high. For an example they are charging $22 for a growler (growler is just over 5 x 12 oz bottles) of a beer that I really like which I know I can get 8 x 12 oz bottles of the beer for the same price is not a value. Getting growler fill is not something you pay a luxury for its something you do to keep the price down, really its not a hipster premium charge thing. As for the liquor side I really like it. Again they are a bit higher on the price than I am use to but I really like the layout and they do offer a wide selection of small bottles that I have not seen the other stores in the area carry. All in all I see potential but until they come WAY down on their growler pricing and target harder to find beer I don't think I will be coming back. read more

I love this place. I mainly go to the growler section and to the person that's review said they don't have a unique selection is crazy. They always have new stuff, even though I almost always get the Kentucky bourbon ale because it is so awesome. The guy that usually works in there is terrific because he is great at recommending things. Definitely check this place out!!!!! read more

I have been to this store several times because they had a growler station. I've always had a positive experience with the staff until yesterday. The woman who served us acted like we were inconveniencing her. She was younger with shoulder length blonde hair. She was very rude and short with us. I hate to write a negative review but I think I will be taking my business elsewhere. They need to take care of their customer service issue. read more
