His reply pretty much said exactly what I was thinking; namely, e-bikes are fun and a 2.5 hour e-bike tour for under $30US per person seemed like a good deal. The starting point was a bike shop near the port, where bikes and gear were assigned, we met our guide (Nuno), and off we went. A few minutes later we stopped at a plaza to talk about what interested us most. We'd been on a walking tour days before and weren't interested in learning much more history. Our guide understood the assignment. Following Nuno as he navigated the busy streets of Lisbon was easy and we did so safely. We made it to each of the hills, snapped some photos, and discussed briefly the history of what we were seeing. The amount of discussion was right-sized. Unlike that earlier walking tour this didn't feel like a history lesson; It felt like fun. And when it started pouring during the final 30 minutes of our ride (rain ponchos provided) it moved into crazy-fun territory. I don't know what all "Rent a fun" offers or whether all of their offerings are booked via Airbnb "experiences" but if you find something they offer that sounds fun and interesting I'm here to say that it probably is.

Additionally, they provide you with paper maps and instructions on where to go, when to stop, etc. so you'll feel well prepared for your adventure! Luis also stays connected with you through your the whole ride via what's app. He even sent us restaurant recs and asked if we wanted resos booked! How sweet! If you're considering booking with LAS Tours, stop thinking and start doing…read more While staying in Lisbon, my in-laws and I wanted to take advantage of our Lisboa Cards and take the train to Sintra for a day trip. It was a rather spontaneous decision over late dinner, so at 11:30 PM or so, I start looking into options and came across LAS Tours. I tried to book tickets through their site, and got an automatic response that I will hear back on my requested booking soon. I was hoping to rent three twizy vehicles to explore Sintra in. Since it was late, and I was not expecting to hear back, I found their tours listed on TripAdvisor, and booked one of the three twizy vehicles we'd need for our group. Before I could book the second, I got a response from Luis at 11:59 pm. Yes you read that correctly, at midnight! He helped me cancel the one vehicle I had booked on TripAdvisor, so I could book directly with LAS Tours as I initially intended, which happened to be at a better price than what's listed on TripAdvisor. We emailed back and forth until about 12:45am to go over all the details. Next morning, I arrived in Sintra, and there is Luis! Does this guy sleep? Sonia got us all squared away. She helped create a route for us based on what we wanted to see, gave us restaurant recommendations, and accommodated us in every way possible. Luis then went over how to drive the vehicle, which is incredibly straight forward and easy. The twizy is a breeze to operate and drive. It can fit into small parking spots which is great when you are visiting sites that draw a lot of tourists. The guided audio provides information as you follow your route, and the directions they provide are very easy to follow. But rest assured that if you go off course or get lost, you'll get a call from Sonia or Luis to help get you back on track since they're able to monitor the vehicle's movements. You can lock up the vehicle, get in and out, and spend as little or as much time at each stop. It's truly incredibly easy and smooth. Also, you can purchase tickets directly from LAS Tours for many of the attractions. It saved us a bunch of time at Peña Palace in particular, as we were able to walk right in with the tickets provided, instead of waiting in the very long line to purchase them prior to entry. Everyone in our group had a great time and agreed it was one of the best ways to get around and see Sintra as a tourist. There is no way we'd be able to cover so much ground and see so many sites without a vehicle, and the twizy was the way to go. It's particularly great on some of the narrow roads, as it's so compact. The butterfly doors also mean that you don't have to worry about someone taking out your door when getting in or out, and you can fit into narrower spaces since you don't have to account for door clearance. I really can't stress enough how accommodating LAS Tours was. It's truly one of the best customer service experiences I've had in my life. They really care about making your adventure as enjoyable as possible and take pride in what they do. The little touches, like taking offering to take photos, providing you with a blanket (it was a chilly morning), and checking in with you are so amazing. I can't say enough good things about them! I LOVED Sintra, more so than Lisbon and Albufeira, even though I really did enjoy all my time in Portugal. LAS Tours made that possible. I will be back, and hope to have another twizy adventure in the not-so-distant future!

I wish there was more opportunity to get pictures but if you utilize the HOHO shuttle after you can get as many as you want. We didn't have enough time so we missed out on that option. I felt we were in the water longer than 30 minutes(it's a slow go). The views from the water to Belem Tower and Monument to the Discoveries were phenomenal.

They only have the one, but what a ship she is - 47 foot vanguard, and she's old and pretty. They kindly greet you at pier 2 of the belem docks , 5 minutes before you're set to push off . Once aboard you're welcome to walk anywhere you like on the ship, though we found the back bench to be the most comfortable. Tati brings out cheese (omg good), meat and bread, and of course wine and beer. The views are probably the best we had of the city , as the perspective was unlike anything else we had seen. Book a sunset sail with these guys on Airbnb, trip advisor, or anyplace else they are listed, you honestly won't regret it (and at 40€ per person, it's a steal).
