Specifically, for the ADUs with polished concrete floors, drain installation was omitted in five out of seven units prior to the concrete pour. Furthermore, window cutouts were constructed below grade, creating a risk of water infiltration. In addition, after pouring and finishing the concrete floors, expansion joints were not installed, leading to concrete cracking in two of the ADUs.
