The driving instructor is not great, will text and make phone calls whilst you are driving, with below average teaching abilities. You can block book a series of hours, however you have to use an extra hour as 'car rental' price during your test day, so you get one hour less driving, and is not specified on their website. Sales team will tell you otherwise, but after you have paid, the situation changes.

They changed driving intructor and car 4 weeks before test and then wanted to change driver and car again after fail test and then advised need another 10 lesson this is after spending £1200 !! some of the instructors as extremely rude and insulting to students if you can't make a lesson you must give at least 48 hours notice even if your ill and unable to see in to the future they will just take your money and not re arrange and your be lucky if some even picks up the phone or passes message on Also they only work from 9 till 3pm ??? Which isn't very flexible In the end we changed to a private instructor rebooked test and within 4 weeks he passed !!! Do not use cardrome a complete waste of your time and hard earned money!!!!!

My daughter really likes her instructor but the owners of the cardrome are rude and only care about taking your money. My daughter fainted on the day or one of her lessons, I notified the office as soon as it happened - 2 hours before her lesson. I asked the owner if i could reschedule the lesson on the day and she said she would have a look. No one came back to me! I called in the new year to reschedule and was told that I couldn't because the lesson was cancelled on the day of the lesson and not 2 days before as per the terms and conditions. I've never heard anything so stupid, how can you predict if someone is going to faint 2 days before! The company are unsympathetic and as mentioned above very rude! Do not waste your money with this company. Go to a driving school who genuinely care and are not just about taking your money, there are plenty out there. Owner was very rude on the phone to me when I tried to reschedule the missed lesson.

The 2 hour…read morelessons are really good as it gives you time to get into what you are doing and the regularity of lessons means it helps stick in your brain! Theory test was organised easily for me and was able to be postponed for me. the resources/access and helpful revision material was set up which made the theory test a lot easier. The use of videos are great as they have the theory and real life footage which you can watch again and again to make sure you really understand it. I didn't think I could learn and pass in such a short amount of time but I did it with carcaptain's help! Practical was arranged very quickly!!

They arranged a test quickly and efficiently even though I was really specific about both the date and time I wanted to do. Within a couple of days of getting on the phone with them they had secured a test 11 days later and arranged the time I wanted for my lessons. My driving instructor was lovely, really patience and managed to iron out the bad habits I picked up from 5Day. I took my test today and passed, but to be honest whether or not I passed I would still be writing them a great review Its a great service!
