I walked in and was immediately intrigued by the selection. Jeannie has cozy mysteries, history, large print, and an amazing selection of children's books. The prices are great and the condition of the books are too! I got presents for my baby niece that she will enjoy for Christmas. The store owner is so sweet and nice. Very helpful. She has stickers, bracelets , and other fun things to buy. Her and her husband do Santa and Mrs Clause pictures on Saturday in December which I thought was cool. It has a great selection from children's books right up to current adult books. The staff was friendly and offered to help us find anything when we arrived but also left us alone to look which I always appreciate. There is a cafe attached which offers simple non fancy coffees. I think it's over 45 or 25 if your purchase you get a free dessert, but due to the fact that it is a vegan store and most vegan items are plant nut based and I am highly allergic to nuts. We looked at their books, crystals, and spiritual items while waiting for our food. We got our food from Jikoni Cafe which is located inside The House of Consciousness. They sell vegan food, smoothies, and desserts. There were DVD's and CDs on clearance for $1. Which was a good deal. The cashier and the cook were both very friendly and patient with all the questions we had about the different dishes. The have some unique jewelry pieces for sale, which I like. The store is clean inside, the bathroom is also clean, and there's a few couches and tables you can lounge at, or you can dine in.
