a bowl of food with noodles and vegetables
    Jessie H.

Located inside the Roosevelt Field Mall (2nd floor near Primark) in the food court. I've never been to this place but the salmon poke caught my eye. You basically build your own bowl. I picked the fieldgreens w/lemon sauce and for my 2 sides I got cold noodles and black beans + corn. My protein was the salmon poke and I got chipotle aioli with picked ginger and onions on top. The bowl looked really colorful and pretty. I liked the different flavors!! I think mine just had a tad too much chipotle aioli (next time I'd prob ask for a lighter pour). Overall it seemed pretty fresh and tasted great. I would recommend coming here if you're looking for a healthier option in the food court. The bowl costs about $17 and line moves fast. I also looked online and it's a chain with locations in NYC as well!

Little beet is inside the food court in Roosevelt field mall. I got the low fodmap bowl, it was $17 and not worth it at all, it's definitely something you can make at home. The only thing that stood out to me was the avocado sauce (chimichurri) The food was well seasoned but not worth the price. The broccoli and sweet potatoes are flavorful but the salmon could do better since it was a bit dry.

I went to this place on a Tuesday evening and it wasn't too busy! The plate that I ordered tasted so refreshing and it filled me up. The tofu and beets were my favorite part of my plate! I definitely recommend the tofu and the beets. They have a lot of options for picking out your own bowls which I like. If you are vegan or vegetarian you can definitely find something to get here! They also have some seating since it is located in the food court area of the mall which is always a plus!

First time trying this place inside Roosevelt Field Mall. I had the basmati rice, cauliflowers, beets, red beans, corns with the seared salmon. It was delicious and plentiful. Service was nothing out the extraordinary, the ambiance is in the food court of the mall. It was pretty much expensive over $20.

This place is FIRE. I always get it for lunch when I'm at Roosevelt. Fresh ingredients and super tasty options? In love. Everything there has so much flavor. I love their basmati rice, broccoli, brussel sprouts, sweet potatoes, salmon, and cold noodles. It's pretty pricey for a plate, but every once in a while I think it's worth it. Very very good food!

A delicious option at Roosevelt Field is Little Beet in Garden City! Located in the Dining District food court, this place offers healthy vegetarian and meat options. I have made my own bowl as well as order their menu bowls. They offered the Chef's Soup Bowl which was sooo good, portion size was generous. Highly recommend! Plenty of seating in the food court and if you bring your charge cord, you can charge while you eat!

This is my first time trying this place in the food court. It was a relatively healthy option compared to others. I love all sorts of vegetables so was very excited to try them all. I am very impressed at the brussels sprouts it is very tasty, the kale was very flavorful as well. I got roasted grilled chicken and everything mixed together was just perfect. Overall for food court options on the healthier side I definitely recommend trying this spot. It is a little hidden gem and I wish they have more locations!

Found this place in the mall today and it checked all the boxes: hearty, healthy and yummy! No line, good service. I built my own bowl with quinoa, shaved brussel sprouts, charred broccoli, salmon, pickled onion and seeds with the chipotle dressing. The salmon was crispy and not fishy. 100% recommend!

TLo's Picks: Salmon w/Sweet Potato, Beet/Lentils, Quinoa, pickled onions and Tumeric sauce ~ 11.22.21

It's great to have a few healthier options in the Simon mall food court. Little Beet is one of a few great new options now that the Roosevelt Field food court has been upgraded in recent years here prior to the COVID pandemic shut down. With many good options I decided on grabbing a late lunch - TLo's Picks: Salmon w/Sweet Potato, Beet/Lentils, Quinoa, Pickled Onions and Tumeric sauce [11.22.21]. Salmon was a good size, but lacked a touch of its juiciness but nothing that a good Tumeric sauce couldn't help out with. The sweet potatoes side was a good texture of baked soft inside and slightly charred outside skin. The Beet & Lentil side was quite delicious as well, being very fresh and well balanced. The quinoa wasn't anything to out of the ordinary but a bit of seasoning could have helped, no pepper sadly to be found, just salt packets :/ All in all, add a small drink and you are looking at a $20 healthy meal that really fills you that your body will utilize to fuel you in all the right ways.

Always fresh always delicious - I'm getting the Salmon as protein and it's never failed me!

    Salmon was not fully cooked.

Everything else was amazing but salmon was not fully cooked and they forgot to put the sweet chili garlic I ordered. Very disappointed because I was looking forward to the protein and sauce.

    Awesome vegetarian plate!

They got the beet, they got the beet they got the beet...they got it! And they have lots besides beets, too. I loved my combo plate - spiced tofu, brown rice, pumpkin seed mix and some greens, served up with a side of a chipotle sauce. You can, of course, have it drizzled over the top but I was in a dipping kind of mood. I opted to make it a combo for $3 - a bag of chips and a can of seltzer. They had the Spindrift brand which has interesting flavors. I opted for the Hippeas, a fav snack of mine, in a new BBQ flavor - yum! I chose the cucumber seltzer and it was refreshing. The total came to $16. It is a bit steep for a food court place at the mall, but it was filling, the food tasted fresh, and most importantly - it tasted great. It is also nice to know that you can have a healthy food option and not have to feel like you can only have a fried option while cruising the mall. I would *probably* get this same combo again, or maybe try slight variations. I would likely come back next time I am hungry at Roosevelt Field.

Hi there, are they many vegan options? Thanks

The menu has chicken beef and fish on it. So the comment below is not correct.

It is one of those rare, sprawling ecosystem-level malls where you can easily lose an entire day to the pavement and never once feel the itch of boredom. The structural face-lifts have been a massive win, transforming the space into a genuinely premium destination. They have a powerhouse gauntlet of anchor stores--Macy's, Bloomingdale's, Nordstrom, and Neiman Marcus--flanked by a relentless selection of clothing boutiques and a Lego store that remains a pure, nostalgic trip. The food court is the gold standard in variety, standing as one of the best executions of the concept you'll find anywhere. But the real evolution hits in the summer, when the al fresco dining areas open up, offering an outdoor oasis amid the retail hustle. It gets crowded--of course it does--but with plenty of parking to absorb the madness, it remains an absolute favorite. Selection & Shopping (5/5): An elite tier of retail which runs seamlessly from accessible mid-range staples to high-end luxury. The movie theater upgrade is spectacular, a complete night-and-day transformation from what it used to be. Food & Dining for a mall (4.5/5): A massive cut above standard mall fare. The sheer volume of food options is impressive, and the outdoor al fresco spaces give it a vibrant, lively energy during the warmer months. Layout & Convenience (4.25/5): The modern renovations have aged beautifully, keeping the massive footprint easy on the eyes. Despite the heavy crowds, the abundance of parking means you aren't fighting a losing battle before you even get through the doors.

I frequented many stores and in each one of them, the staff was super kind, attentive and friendly. I'm talking from Nordstrom to UniQlo to Columbia. Many didn't have my size which is what sucked, so while I'm left without a new puffer for now, I am still happy with the overall experience at this mall. Also given that it was my first time and around the holidays, I expected a lot of chaos and craziness, but it wasn't really all that bad at all. Finding a spot in the parking lot took a bit but there is extensive (and free!) parking. Also, the restrooms were clean and spacious, and had an attendant who was cleaning, which I always fully appreciate seeing. Beautiful holiday decorations and also the usual mall food options - though the food court was on the second floor, I believe, but an unexpected closer location for me since I was hungry and ended up getting a chicken salad bowl (delicious). I would come back!

There's definitely some New York City DWCP laws being violated by the seafood department here…read more Per the NYC DWCP website: In New York City, businesses selling goods by weight, like food, are required to deduct the weight of the packaging (tare weight) from the total weight to ensure customers pay only for the product. This is part of New York State and New York City's Weights and Measures laws enforced by the Department of Consumer and Worker Protection (DCWP). Tare Weight: This is the weight of the packaging or container that holds the food. For example, the weight of the plastic container holding deli meat. Net Weight: This is the actual weight of the food being sold, after the tare weight has been subtracted. Legal Requirement: Businesses must ensure scales are accurate and display the net weight of the product to the customer, and they must take into account the tare weight. Consumer Rights: Customers have the right to see the scale and ensure it is displaying the correct weight, with a zero or minus sign indicating the tare weight has been deducted. I bought three lobsters here at $12/pound. The seafood counter person took them out of the lobster tank dripping water, placed them into a large, heavy, brown paper bag (see similar photo I borrowed from another reviewer who had a similar experience - I discarded my bag upon returning home) and then into another large plastic bag. I asked the fishmonger politely if he could pour out the large amount of excess water ($12/pound for water is silly). He became extremely irate and said that lobster is composed primarily of water and therefore would not pour the water out of the bag. At that point, I didn't even endeavor to explain NYC packaging tare weight laws to him. Paid for my lobster, water and packaging and left. Fully understand that it's not easy to make profit in NYC, but sad that this market needed to resort to breaking the law to do so. Unfortunately this isn't the first time this has happened here, but this was the first time I decided to ask the seafood counter person about it. If selling seafood isn't profitable, it's not necessary to deceive customers, just charge more to cover your expenses or please, just don't sell it.
