Some of the aisles between furniture and other wares are quite narrow, so you may need to walk sideways down them, but you won't be disappointed. The prices are all quite reasonable too, and the service is great, very friendly and very efficient. There's another antique store beside Hoff's, and that too is just as interesting and varied, but I can't remember the name of it. If you're interested in variety and reasonably priced goods from days gone by, then you'll love Hoff's and most likely find at least one bargain.

Their showroom in Rose Park shows off the hand-selected pieces which they are more than proud of having in stock. Everything in this store is fabulous, but if you're only looking for something easy and cheap to fill your house, then head to IKEA and get what you pay for, because the prices of the items in KM Furniture definitely portrays its quality. So if you're not worried about price, or really want to get something which is definitely going to last, then have a browse online or in the store.

We have shopped in this store for over five years, always found the prices competitive, with staff very knowledgable and helpful. It's an escape from everyday life and adds a touch of whimsy the stuff dreams are made of. Ok I may have gone on a bit but I simply adore it. I must've had a past life in one of those grandiose French / Italian villas, as I am so drawn to this type of decor. My husband can never understand why I buy these items and put them around the house to gather dust. I then just point out to him that he has his vices and I have mine..so there. Villa Provence is located on Portrush Rd Toorak Gardens right next door to the Trak Cinema. I can't believe they don't have a website or a Facebook page as I'm sure they'd have enough followers to take over Adelaide. Yes it is on the pricey side so pick and choose your pieces carefully if on a budget and if not well you're just plain lucky. There are so many items they can't fit in the shop so it spills over into the walkway inside on the way to the cinema, such as wrought iron chairs and benches, decorative wooden birdcages, book and nic nak display shelving and so much more. And as a note: a little further down the centre corridor at the end on the right is Villa Hamptons! A different feel much like being at the seaside along the Mediterranean, very noyce! As far as this sort of stock goes, this shop is great. The merchandise ain't flimsy or weak or fragile. Most of it feels made to last, which is good. The stock's mostly interesting (though it's your usual brand of odd, needless birdcages and stone faces and wrought-iron chairs and whatnot). It's expensive. But I'll concede that the quality of good seems to justify the expense. I think I'll be returning here in a few years. Unless I want my bedroom to match the decor of the store.

The Buyer's Market is a treasure trove of beautiful antique furniture, and you never know what…read moreyou'll come across. The couple who own the business really love their pieces, and admit to having great fun collecting them. Their beautiful golden retriever is always in the store, normally sprawled in the middle of the floor somewhere, and quite happy for a pat. The prices reflect the nature of antiques, though some of the pieces are not worth what is asked for them, because you could get something the same for less than half the price at an op-shop. They do however collect some beautiful pieces, like oriental side tables and gorgeous old 'bedroom couches' that have storage in the seats. The coolest collectable I've seen in here was a transforming, two-sided set of shelves which could become a chest, or a set of shelves with stairs along the side, which could then lock into each other and become a square shelf. You could access it from both sides so it makes a great room divider. It's made entirely from a high-quality wood with a beautiful polish. The owners had definitely fallen in love with this one, but they let it go, for $1,300. For little beauties like this one, the Buyers Market is always fun to poke through.

If you think you can grab a bargain at The Buyer's Market, think again. A lovely wooden dining table I saw cost around $600 and a nice set of outdoor glass furniture (a table and 2 chairs) were, all together, more than 1000 bucks. If you do have a bit of spare cash and are willing to spend it on some furniture, have a look here. Although the overall style is rather conservative, you'll find a few modern things like bar stools or glass tables among their selection .

There were some really nice dining room tables which you knew would be good quality for (not a cheap) good price. What else did they have which made me fall in love? A jukebox. A jukebox with a USB port? Awesome. It was all lit up and flashing lights and playing good music and I just really wanted to take it home then and there. There are a lot of things here from the 19th and 20th century from places like England, France, and even Asia. Definitely worth having a look through.

The products range from pretty scruffy, to fully restored but all the prices are super competitive and many of the pieces are excellent quality. They have a lot of armoirs, dressing tables, wardrobes and desks. Many pieces are wood and most sorts of timber are well represented. The big warehouse-like store is well laid out so you can walk up and down aisles with very few problems. No fossicking required! Definately a place you must check out if you get into the recycled furniture caper and lack the time to actually attend the auctions yourself.

Recycle Rev has been open for just 3 months and their stock is taken on a consignment basis, giving their buyers and sellers a good opportunity to upcycle with a tateful eye for design whilst being mindful of the environment. Recycle Revolution is light and airy and fronts onto Unley Road via big glass windows and whats more it doesn't have that musty old smell that some second hand shops have. This shop is worth a look if you're in the market for quirky and unusual pieces and then of course there's the more regular items that have simply been pre-loved. I saw a three piece leather lounge on display along with things like vintage typewriters, antique decorating pieces and fashion, cushions, cupboards and cake stands. You never know what stock they're going to have from week to week as their turnover of items is regular. Recycle Revolution is filled with great pieces at reasonable prices that are snapped up quickly.
