A tiny little restaurant in downtown Salida, next door to The Vic bar. Take note... There are only three (3) tables, but you can eat in the room next door, which belongs to The Vic. Yes, the Pho was a bit more expensive than Pho we've had in the past, and it could have used more basil and bean sprouts. But it was rare beef was hot, tasty and filling. And for us, it's the closest Pho we can find... short of making ourselves. Upon request they were able to make vegetarian version (with shrimp) for my partner. It was also good. Yummy, clean food. Large portions. Yes, it's a little pricey - and the food isn't big-city fantastic. But folks - this is a small town in southern Colorado. I'm so glad to find something vegetarian other than a bean burrito! The staff is friendly and gets the job done. Sometimes the food service is a little slow. Come by at lunch or in the afternoon and enjoy the barroom next door - piano and pool tables. I hope sometime this grows into a full-size restaurant -- the menu at least. read more

We dined at Little Cambodia at its old location on F Street and always had a good experience. We decided to check out the new location on the river. It was a real disappointment. We ordered fried rice and a lettuce wrap. When our server (wearing shades the entire time we were in the restaurant) delivered our food, he gave us chop sticks. We politely asked for forks. He asked why we wanted them. Normally, Asian restaurants are used to providing forks. We shouldn't have to justify this request. Was he just lazy? At one point, our server tossed a used napkin across the room (at least 20 feet) to an awaiting trash can. This seems to be a game the servers and kitchen staff play. A while later, one of the "chefs" did the same thing. He was wearing rubber gloves and returned to the kitchen to continue preparing food with the same gloves that had touched a used napkin. Now about the food. The lettuce for the lettuce wrap was wilted and the ingredients were so bland, even the myriad sauces could not redeem the dish. On the other hand, the fried rice was overly doused with black pepper, but had no other discernible Asian flavors. We reported the above to the woman who placed our order. She told the kitchen staff about our complaints and we observed them breaking out in laughter and then trying to locate us in the room. She was the only professional on duty that day and said she hoped we would return. That's not likely. Save your money. This is a sad excuse for an Asian restaurant. read more

Super happy the place opened again, but there was some things had me disappointed. Service in attitude wise is pretty good, but for some reason, even while not busy, it takes an unnecessarily long time for them to bring the pho out. It's putting broth and noodles already pre-made into a bowl, so I'm just always confused why they take so long. Food wise, it's pretty good also. The noodles can still be a bit crunchy, but besides that, I wouldn't have any other things to change. The vegetarian spring rolls are great. read more

We've been here before and it was pretty decent so we wanted to try it again. This is 7/3/2020 during the pandemic so we are doing take out. We walked in and told the gal that we'd like to order take out. She said that because the kitchen was SO busy they weren't doing take out!! Not one table was taken on the interior of the restaurant but 4 tables on the patio was taken. So how were they so busy that they couldn't accommodate us (a party of two) for take out?? And why encourage dine in during a pandemic? What the hell??? What am I missing here? You've got a large restaurant and practically empty for obvious reasons (pandemic) and you want to turn down take out orders? I don't know what to think of this place. For the area I'm very thankful for Vietnamese. The prices are too high however. $10 for Pho in a tiny town compared to $7.95 in big cities for the same portion and way more flavor. Granted this tastes more natural. One huge flaw is they do not have steamed rice. Some of us like to dip our peanut sauce and soup. You walk up to a counter and order. The food is then brought to you. So glad the are open again. Great new spot on the River next to Absolute Bikes. Got to eat last night at the reopening. Food was just as good as we remembered! My daughter was very excited to have the Pho and spring rolls she had been craving since they closed. My drunken noodles were exceptional! We were in town and was glad to see Little Cambodian cafe so had to try. I was quite disappointed with their limited menu and also the only authentic Cambodian food was the lemongrass wings and it wasn't on the menu the day I went!! :( Not the Cambodian cafe I had expected with authentic Cambodian food. We love this place. She is very smart to keep the menu limited. In a small town it means the food turns over quickly and is always fresh. If you want lots of options go to a big city. We have never had a bad meal here. Seating is very limited so in the summer we often take our food to the park. Fresh is the name of the game here. read more

Meh. I know, I know, what did I expect in a 6,000 person mountain town? I had a bun bowl and potstickers, and was underwhelmed by both. The chicken was underspiced and grilled without any marinade or flavoring. I can forgive a lot of things, but bland food is not one. The potstickers tasted like the storebought frozen kind. Well there are a few things one gets anxious about when traveling into the mountains off the beaten path, well there's bears, snakes, unpredictable weather and worst of all no PHO restaurants! OMG! This place was A-MAZ-ING! In Salida, the cell service is so spotty, one can't rely on YELP reviews on the spot, so I hope you are doing your research ahead of time! Really, the pho was top notch and service was perfect with the down home feel. The owner travels into the front range to get the specific ingredients she needs on a regular basis! This place was a very small counter service option attached to the Victoria hotel. They came recommended by our taxi driver. Actually it was pretty good and something unique and the large group with us seemed to enjoy their food. Only reason it's getting three stars is that the prices are pretty high and they need to add more meat into their soup to make it a bit more robust. read more

Usually one of my favorite places. Today I ventured in during the lunch rush. I ordered a medium sized pho with beef, but only got three small slices. Usually get 6 or more. Was really fresh and flavorful food. Had the grilled chicken bun and pho. Both tasted like they were made to order with high quality ingredients. If you like a little spice, ask for the housemade hot sauce on the side. You can get a drink from the bar next door to enjoy with your meal. read more

Very disappointing place.We had Poke Bowls and they had a tiny piece of fish, tons of lettuce, and rice that had moldy aftertaste. One of the restroom lock didn't work, so I got yelled at by someone using the restroom. Staff was not super friendly either. Waste of $25.00 if you ask me. read more

Excellent raw beef pho. The broth was perfectly flavored with anise and lots of fresh herbs and sprouts on top. The egg roll needed the fish sauce dip instead of the sweet sour dip but the fresh spring rolls were delicious. read more

I just had a vietnamese iced coffee to go and it was delish. He did it right, it took 15 minutes to prepare . But it's worth it!

Went for dessert and had the fruit with sticky rice! It was delightful! Can't wait to try the other dishes.

Super solid pho and other options were great too. We were in town for the weekend, toting a gluten intolerant 6-year-old, and not keen on the recommended option of pizza around the corner. This was a total win for us. The food was tasty, generous, and perfectly suitable for the sensitive guts kiddo. No, it wasn't the best ever pho, but it was better than some I've had in Denver, and they were very accommodating of the annoying dietary restriction. My husband and I had different versions of pho and the were both good, but not great. I have eaten a lot of pho in a lot of places and this was far from my favorite. It was good quality beef though.
