This neighborhood coffee shop is popular and busy. And I mean all the time. I've been coming here for years and they're always consistent. Their ingredients are high quality and you can definitely taste it in their matcha. There's not that many seats so I typically take it to go. Today, I went with the huevos rancheros and the hangover wrap. I usually get the hangover wrap. Always ask for extra chipotle sauce on the side. Oh and everything is vegetarian friendly, there's no real meat but trust me, you won't miss it. Even when the line is long, the baristas move fast. If you order food however, there's going to be a wait from their small kitchen. And at night, these guys turn into a wine bar. Little Canal is for sure a go to and neighborhood staple.

Tourists be warned, this is NOT the place to take selfies and speak loudly. If for ANY reason you enter this business, put your phones away keep your voices low. There's a great Starbucks on 42nd St that's much better if you're looking for that authentic New York experience.

My friend and I came here for an afternoon pick me up! It's conveniently located right off the F East Broadway station stop. It's super small inside. Maybe like 5-6 two person tables (one side is a booth). So more likely than not, you'll be sharing the space with someone. I love that the prices include tax. They have food and they serve cocktails after 6 pm. There's a sign that says no wifi, no laptops, and no pets. I got a vanilla latte ($6.25) and my friend got a matcha latte.

I'm in this area often for pottery class, and it's always packed here, so I've generally avoided it. Finally, I made it really early before the morning rush, and wow. The egg sandwich is legit. The bread is pillowy on the inside with a soft outer crunch. It was so, so flavorful. Combined with a matcha latte and my book, it was the best ~40 minutes at a coffee shop. Without WiFi and banning laptops and tablets brings a different vibe I can definitely get used to!

This place is so cute and cozy! I loved it here! Not a ton of seating, maybe 5-6 tables of 2 and then 4 window high top seats. I grabbed my book and drank coffee and ate a breakfast wrap and it was a great morning while staring out into the rain. The coffee itself was brewed well, and the hangover wrap was delicious, a hearty breakfast burrito that made me not eat for a while after! 100% will come back, this place is so inviting.

Little yet busy most of the time. Right at the exit and entrance of subway. Finally I got the chance to try it after several tries during rush hour.

Love the vibes of this corner coffee shop in Chinatown. The environment is very chill (they play groovy funk music in the background) and while the line can be a bit long, the service is very quick and moves fast. I also love the cafe provides the option to use a reusable mug if you plan to drink your beverage inside. It's not clear where to place the used dish ware afterwards since there was no sign/no one had notified me (i.e. do I leave on the countertop, give it to someone, etc.). Plus, I found it hard to ask since the everyone was busy making orders. After a while, I managed to get a barista's attention and told me to put it in the bin by the food preparation window, but would be nice if they let me know the procedure once I got my beverage. One thing to note is they do not allow use of laptops and tablets here, so not the best place to do work or study.

It smells good in here. Because it smells like coffee. It's cute in here. Because there are plants. Snake plant and cacti and hanging plants and a giant monstera to be specific. It's cozy in here. Because the bar stools are comfy and there's a vinyl collection, mellow tunes, art, and overall chill vibe. Little Canal has been here for four years and although I've frequented their neighbor Jajaja next door, I only noticed it today. And I'm glad. Because it made for a cozy, chill, stop-in with Other half selections on the menu on the way to meet a friend.

Had a lovely solo brunch at Little Canal in the LES where everything is vegetarian or vegan! I ordered the Huevos Rancheros (just the right amount of spice! And jalapenos!) and a cappuccino with oat milk, and they were both exactly what I needed. It's a very popular, very tiny spot, so you may have to wait a bit for a table or take your food to go.

Brunch & coffee spot by day and bar & dinner by night. Just got coffee today but will definitely come back to try their foods. I got iced americano and accidentally added too much milk. They have whole milk, half and half, and simple syrup on the side table so you can adjust to your taste.

This is one of my favorite coffee shops to stop by and grab a coffee. They provide a variety of breakfast options whether it's a quick to-go or a meal. I loved the welcoming space as you walked in. The windows and doors were open to allow sunlight and a light breeze. The place also has seating indoor and outdoor during the wonderful spring time.

First time here since the pandemic. The coffees and lattes are just as good as I remember and the food menu has expanded. If you haven't given it a try I highly recommend that you do!!!

It ended up being a nice spot for a casual catch-up, though with a few mixed impressions. The space itself is cute and very much feels like a neighborhood bar. One of the things we liked most was that they have games available--we ended up playing Scrabble while waiting for our friend to arrive, which made the time go by quickly and added to the relaxed vibe. Happy hour prices are solid, and the fried pickles we shared were decent. I also had a watermelon cocktail that was refreshing and perfectly fine, if not particularly memorable. Service was a bit inconsistent. The bartender wasn't very warm or welcoming to us initially, though that changed once our friend--who is a regular--arrived. Overall, it's a comfortable spot to meet friends and hang out for a few hours, especially on a weekday like Thursday. That said, I probably wouldn't go out of my way to return, but I can see why it works well as a local neighborhood hang.

The chicken cutlet and chicken dumplings were fine but I probably wouldn't order them again. The wait staff weren't super attentive nor super warm, but they were efficient when we asked for water refills, etc. There was ample standing room at the bar while we waited for our friends, but the table/booth that we sat at was super narrow, I was knocking knees with my friend all night and generally felt squished.
