Front and center is the veteran's memorial with a medium high monument that has the words of the famous Poppy Field poem with a flag at full staff. The most notable person here - at least according to FindAGrave - is Congressman Bob Price (1927-2004) who was elected to the Ninetieth Congress and to the next three succeeding Congresses, serving until 1975. The remainder of the cemetery is in very good condition with lots of low trees and much shade. It's a nicer cemetery than others I've seen in the more rural parts of Texas. They text you a picture to let you know that something important is there for you to pick up. They provide a full line of services, USPS, Fed Ex, UPS. They will wrap, box and send out any size package for you. They also provide other services such as P.O. Boxes, faxing, emailing, scanning, copying and even Notarize documents. They carry a small gift area that includes small locally made items and have a full line of occasional cards. Their prices are great and their services are even better! The owners were very nice and accommodating, but the full timers running the "park" ruin this place. If rules are written for the RV PARK- EVERYONE should be expected to follow them.
