WOOHOO! Love when I get good Indian food. This place definitely hit the spot for what I was looking for. Other places in salt lake county or Utah county are just a little bit off with the flavor. All the chicken dishes were great and tender and came with so much food but my friend said the lamb biryani was kinda dry. I never really order lamb at an Indian place cause I think it's hard to do well but he insists that the lamb at saffron valley is much more tender. The service was SO attentive. To a point where it was giving us anxiety. It felt a little rush because they kept asking us what we wanted and how we wanted to split the check every two seconds. New place and was so excited, plenty of staff but only 1 person taking orders for both sides of the restaurant. 45 minutes had gone by when they came out and said they are fresh out of Tandoori lamb. Almost a 2 hour long meal and I think 50% of the food was great whereas the other 50% lacked flavor and real preparation. Another downside was their beverage menu only had the basics and other drinks not available. Not sure I would return as many other better choices in the Wasatch Front. read more

Wow!!!! Top19 in the NATION for a reason. Ok, it was divine! Little India is busy because it really is that good. There's a new location opening in highland. I wish it was Saratoga Springs, maybe soon!!! We don't have any Indian this way and we need little India! Little India is gorgeous and has a vibe. It's absolutely delicious. The rice is WAY better then anywhere else. I'm so glad we ordered big and got the appetizer with the mint chutney. Our whole family loves the green sauce and samosa. Yum. The lamb rogan josh was a winner (plus they offer the "mild" spice level for the shameful pansies among us such as myself, and it truly is nice and mild). Indian-style coffee has recently become one of my favorite things and theirs is delicious. They're apparently affiliated with the people who run Bombay House in Provo, so if you like that, you'll probably like this. Service from MJ and team was friendly, prompt, and engaging. Well, I'm surprised I haven't written a review for this place before. I've been to this place probably 50 times. It is absolutely the best Indian food in Utah. The service is great. The food is spectacular. The ambiance is quiet and it feels like you're visiting a friend at home. They're about to open up a second location in Highland everyone that I encounter is incredibly friendly incredibly nice and goes out of their way to make sure you have a good experience. This is absolutely hands down some of the best Indian food I've had since moving down to Utah County. The samosa's were filled to the brim with perfectly cooked delicious potato and vegetable filling and they were piping hot! The chutneys were definitely homemade and you could tell by the flavor and consistency. The mint chutney was the perfect accompaniment to the samosa and you could taste every ingredient that was in the chutney. The tamarind chutney was perfectly sweet and sour, all the flavors were also very balanced. The Chicken Makhani was the best I've ever had, it had so much flavor and the plump golden raisins soaked up the sauce for a perfect burst of flavor of sweet and savory in every bite. I will definitely be dreaming of this curry often. The chicken was also so tender and fall apart. The lamb vindaloo was also exquisite. The meat was so tender and flavorful it was like butter. It was the perfect amount of heat. A lot of times when you order medium it's actually mild and then is just lacking in flavor but this was not the case here. The garlic butter naan was delicious but my one thing I wasn't a fan of was the lack of fresh garlic. I am a garlic girly I love eating chopped garlic. The naan itself was pillowy and you could tell it was cooked in a tandoor! Which is so rare most just taste like the may have been frozen. I honestly wish I just bought the regular naan just to enjoy the simplicity of how stunning it is. Can I just mention that I also ordered this on DoorDash, I'm not a DD girl when it comes to Indian food because Indian food really is something I enjoy eating out at the restaurant but I have been feeling under the weather so this was the perfect treat yo self dinner. Everything was hot when it arrived and perfectly packaged to keep it hot and fresh. This restaurant really cares about their customers and their food presentation and it shows. This is the BEST Indian food I have ever had! I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala with a medium spice level and it was delicious. Like melt in your mouth delicious. I also ordered a Mango Lassi and it was so good.. it was creamy, thick, and sweet. The service was great! They were very attentive and always made sure our water was filled. Let me start this review by mentioning that I have never been a fan of Indian food. I have the tastebuds of an uncultured 5 year old; carbs and cheese make up the majority of my diet. My husband convinced me to try the "Chicken Makhani" which is butter chicken. Thank goodness he did! I really enjoyed the flavors of the "Chicken Makhani" - the chicken was moist and fell apart with minimal prodding of my fork and the rich sauce was super tasty. It's definitely something even the pickiest of eaters would enjoy. The "Garlic Naan" bread was super tasty and had a strong garlic flavor and smell. I got it without cilantro because I'm not a fan of it. My only note was the naan bread could've been cooked maybe a minute or two longer and it would've been spot on - nevertheless, it was still delicious. The "Basmati Rice" was cooked perfectly and, for the most part, tasted like normal white rice, but it had nice hints of spice mixed in. My husband got the "Shrimp Curry" and he was really pleased and very satisfied. He ordered it with the "Hot" spice level, and he said there was heat, but he could've gone for the "Very Hot" spice level. The traditional Indian flavors took him back to his childhood in the Bay Area of California, where great Indian food can be found in many places. We ordered the food to-go and at first, we were disappointed in what seemed to us like smaller portion sizes, but the creamy richness of the sauces filled us up and we were left satisfyingly full with the amount of food we received. Our online ordering experience was quick and easy. The food was ready a lot quicker than expected. I had high hopes for this experience based on the reviews and the Yelp rating. We are traveling through the area so will not return but if I was local I would not run back here. My experience summed up: * Busy location with full waiting area upon arrival. (I have never witnessed this in any Indian restaurant that I've ever died at.) However, we were seated and served quickly. Quoted a 15 minute wait but maybe waited 5 minutes. * Ample parking. It's located in a large shopping area so easily found parking. * Large portions. We observed nust about every table walk away with a to-go box(es) to take remaining food home. * Good for the mild palate. I prefer mild at all other Indian restaurants but here I can easily handle medium. Flavors were nice overall. * Fast turnaround. I can understand why the wait time is so low even during busier hours. The food is brought to the table quickly after ordering. My guess is there are large quantities of bases prepped in the kitchen which allows them to just dish and serve. They had one staff member roaming and pulling plates, turning over tables immediately after a group left. ***We actually felt rushed due to this fact. Multiple staff asked if we were either done, needed a box, or ready for check - one after another. And we had maybe just put our fork down. Also, they have the handheld ready to take your payment immediately at the table. I do not understand how this can be considered Indian "Fine Dining" because it is more fast casual in my opinion. It is one step up from walking up to a counter and ordering a takeout box of items ready-made. But I give it 4**** stars due to the food taste, cleanliness of the restaurant, and the fast service (albeit almost too fast). My husband and I ordered takeout at Little India. It was fabulous. I was interested in a vegetarian dish so I ordered the vegetable coconut kurma and paired it with the peshawari naan. My colleague at work recommended this restaurant during my work visit to Utah and turned out that this is one of the best Indian restaurant I've ever been to. I tried the chicken biryani and lamb botj masala. The biryani was cooked to perfection and the lamb boti masala was amazing. I now understand why there was 30-35 wait time to get a table here. The service is great, the guy at the front service counter was polite and very helpful. The ambiance of this place is very nice, they have several murals over the walls and classical Indian music playing in the background. I'm actually shocked this place is as good as it is. Not what you'd expect from a little place tucked away in Lehi across from Costco. We did a pickup order of garlic naan, Chicken Coconut Kurma, and Lamb Saag. Pretty standard orders we make whenever we eat Indian. I parked to pick up the food, opened the door, and was pretty amazed at how well they've decorated the place. It's a lot bigger than it looks from the outside. I'll definitely have to dine in next time I'm in the mood for Indian food. The food made it safely home and we started eating it. We split everything between 3 adults and a toddler and still had enough leftovers for a small lunch for me the next day. I did wish we had got a second (or even 3rd) garlic naan, but didn't think it through while calling in the order. Both dishes were amazing and I honestly can't tell you which one I liked more. We did the saag spicy and I really thought they nailed it. The two flavors really complement each other well and I kept going back and forth between the two bite after bite. Usually you'd have to go to Provo or Salt Lake for Indian food this good, so having this in Lehi is huge. We will definitely go back regularly. read more

Ambiance was somewhat standard for an Indian restaurant but had colorful murals that made it stand out. Food was delicious--I personally felt that the garlic and onion naan tasted a little too strongly of garlic and onion powder and had hoped for some more fresh garlic and onion flavors, though. Best Indian I have had outside of London. Food always fresh. Even fried products are light and tasty---not greasy. Service always excellent . In fact, one time the manager went out of his way to assure I got takeout quickly during a blizzard so I could get home safely. Whenever we dine there he is always checking on all guests to assure they are happy. This is the first restaurant in Utah Valley that I can honestly say has food that is so good I want to go back again and again. My father was a chef and I am the pickiest eater you'll find. A fantastic Indian restaurant! Little India is hands down the best Indian restaurant in Utah County and my top favorite Indian spot in Utah! I've been multiple times including when they first opened and the excellent quality and friendly service has always been consistent. All gluten free and vegan options are clearly labelled on their menu, which is awesome! My favorites include the pineapple chicken curry, mango chicken, garlic naan, and of course the mango ice cream! My husband enjoys their butter chicken, tikka masala, and saag paneer.
