This little spot was the real deal. If you're looking for authentic Mexican tacos you need to try this place. Food was delicious, service was friendly and has a casual atmosphere. Cannot wait for them to expand! Eating inside was a little cozy and felt rushed so we could give up our spot for someone else. I hate to give this place a 3-star rating after seeing all its 5-star ratings. While I love the story behind it for being a food truck turned restaurant, and for how quaint and cute the restaurant itself is, I feel like the novelty of it plays a big role in why it's getting 5-star reviews. When you get here, the place is so cute and inviting on the outside! It's also right next to a gas station. You immediately get that hole-in-the wall vibe which, again, I think plays into the novelty of it. The staff there was very friendly! They don't have servers though. You order your food, get a number, and it's brought out to you. I ordered their chicken fajitas. They were good, but I don't think they were amazing. My friend got a burrito, taquito & street taco. He didn't care for his taquito. He thought the taco was just okay, and he thought the burrito was good but not amazing or anything. That's why I'm giving it a 3-star rating. I would definitely come back, but I would not go and rave about it. If this place did not start out as a food truck, wasn't in the outskirts of Edmond and was located in some random shopping strip in OKC, I wonder if people would be as crazy about it. No offense to the owners at all. It really does seem like a nice establishment and staff and, like I said, the food was good. I am just giving my honest opinion. We just moved to the area and found our new favorite Mexican place. We had street tacos, taco platter, and. Cheese enchiladas and it was all really delicious. The meat on the street tacos was superb and the cheese in the enchiladas was awesome. Also worth noting was the yummy corn tortilla flavor coming through the enchiladas and moist and flavorful rice. This place was a nice surprise. We had traveled from Chandler to Edmond to take a steer to the butcher. Then needed some lunch. This place had good reviews so we gave it a try. It has cute outdoor dining as well as indoor. You have to walk to the counter to place your order but wait staff brings your food when it's ready. Only reason I didn't give five stars is because you don't get chips and picante automatically, it's a separate charge. However the food is not your run-of-the-mill Mexican. We both got street tacos and they were different and delicious! If we are in the area again we will certainly stop in. Sorry, no pics! read more

Everything is delicious here! I have now tried the street tacos, torta and drowned burrito. Seriously it all has so much flavor. The workers are nice and you get what you pay for, plenty of food! Great service, would recommend for a quick eat! Hurry in for a seat (as its very small and can't accommodate a large group) but grab a bottled cola and enjoy the nice patio. This is our favorite Mexican restaurant 'in town,' even if it is halfway to Guthrie! It's certainly worth the drive! The street tacos are absolutely delicious and stuffed to the gills. We usually need a fork for clean up afterwards. My favorite is the Mega-Burrito, which is a burrito wrapped with a quesadilla! Cheesy goodness! You have to pay extra for chips and queso, but it's worth it. The queso has good flavor vs. the free stuff you get at other places in town. read more

I ordered a beef burrito meal to go. The burrito was very tasty and worth the money. The portion size for the rice and beans was very small. It would not have satisfied a five year old. I would say there was about 2 Tbsp of beans and maybe 1/4 cup of rice. The rice and beans cost $3.50. Next time I will just order the burrito. read more

The food is decent if you can get it... but their hours are so erratic... half the time I go there and it's completely dark. Frustrating to drive all this way for breakfast and they're closed during their own stated business hours. read more
