This is one of three places I go every time I go to Abilene to visit family. The food is always served hot, and is always plentiful. All meals are a good value. Ok, I'm very torn and on the fence about writing this review because as much as I love the food, the boba and the lady who works there, they just simply lack the presentation, which greatly affect the overall feel of the experience. Let me break it down. Their ramen is the best one you can find in Abilene. But when you have to eat it from a plastic bowl with a tiny soup spoon, it just ruins it. Same with their sushi. They serve it crammed in a to-go styrofoam container and you mix your soy sauce/wasabi concoction in a tiny to-go sauce container. Everything in to-go containers. So imagine getting a take-out but eating it there in the restaurant, that's how it feels like. It's very unfortunate because this place truly has a potential. I got the teriyaki chicken and it was quite a let down. The fried rice was also quite bland. The staff was quite friendly though.

We ordered the sushi and an hour later I start feeling really hot and just uneasy. My stomach rumbling and I almost lost it on myself. Needless to say it didn't take long for my body to reject it. I was starving and thought why not give it a shot. I know what to tell people when they ask. This place needs to be inspected by a health inspector. their sushi was even plain, no sauces on top to compliment the fish or rice. The service was horrible. I come here all of the time; their sushi isn't the best, but it's pretty good for the price and it's one of my go-to options for take out. Their miso soup is really good, also: a large cup is less than $3, and it comes with huge chunks of tofu and other tasty things. Their bubble tea isn't half bad either; not quite as good as Phoenix Pho on the opposite side of town, but not quite as expensive, either. The girl who works at the front counter was super rude . If you dine in they give you food in a styrofoam to go box . I asked if all food served dine in was served in to go boxes and she said yes ! Sushi and service was good. Only complaint is that the only two high chairs were broken and unusable. They also had boosters that are for booths and not for tables and chairs which is their only seating option. Definitely not a kid friendly place to sit down and eat at. read more

This place is absolutely disgusting and the most bland food I have ever had. I am seriously mind blown how this place has 4 stars. We ordered the Cajun roll, another spicy roll (can't remember the name), order of spring rolls, bf ordered chicken teriyaki and rice and a California roll. We love sushi and have eaten sushi in many different places. This is definitely the worst! The rice is doughy, veggies in the chicken and rice tasted fake. My rolls were so bland and disgusting. My boyfriend got sick right after from his food. On top of this, the atmosphere was not really our cup of tea. We thought this place was nicer, to say it bluntly. I've been a regular customer since 2016. Pretty much this is the only place in Abilene to get a good bubble tea drink. My favorite is Thai Tea, Cappuccino & Taro with pearl. I can see there are reviews about the lady at the front being rude. I'm glad I never experience that. I always have good talk with her, we always talked about random stuff while she makes my drink. Abilene has a couple of fast food hibachi places so let's try the newest one. Counter service was super slow, but that was the customers fault. (Get a menu, figure out what you want, before she says may I help you!) just common courtesy. I got the hibachi steak and shrimp with grilled veggies and fried rice. It was actually quite good. Steak was cooked just right and shrimp was grilled perfectly. Grilled veggies were very good but rice was just like any other place. We'll try the sushi next time for sure. Yes, Abilene makes sushi and yes, it is highly Gringo style. But this place is pretty damn great for quick and friendly. Lots of local residents coming in. Great hibachi chicken and rice and a la carte sushi options. Like most sushi places, lettuce for ginger salad is poorly chopped making it a pain to eat. Lychee-lemon tea was delightful! read more

The service will be horrible, your order will be wrong and they'll be incredibly rude about it. I've literally waited 45 minutes for 2 ginger salads and a California roll. I was very excited to see that a new sushi restaurant had opened as the options in Abilene are limited. While I was uncertain as to whether or not a "fast food sushi" place would be any good, I can honestly say that the quality of sushi here is on par with the other sushi restaurants in Abilene, but at a fraction of the price. Most rolls range from $5 to $7 and they certainly pack them full of tasty ingredients--crab, crawfish, and an assortment of sashimi and vegetables are all available. They also have bubble teas, which I haven't had in ages--very refreshing. I was very pleased with our lunch, which cost about $35 for four large rolls, an appetizer, and two large drinks. My biggest hope is that Little Ninja begins to use Arrowhead as a delivery service. I miss having sushi delivered and they'd certainly be the only sushi game in town to do so. read more

After traveling from Oregon to Texas, we stopped here in search of something other than generic fast food. Midweek afternoon meant that this place wasn't that packed. We ordered ramen based on the Yelp reviews. We were nervous about it but OMG, best ramen on the trip thus far. They even had a properly cooked jammy soft boiled egg that had good flavoring and seasoning! Why is this so hard for other restaurants to get! Highly recommend this place. This is one of my favorite places in town. I am a sucker for their chicken fried rice with yum yum sauce. Also their boba tea is the best I've ever had, nothing like it anywhere in this area for sure. My only downside is sometimes the woman who works at the front is rude to the customers. One time I bought my food and while i waited, decided I wanted a boba as well. I went back up to order it and the woman was not happy about it. She said (harshly) next time to order my meal together because they got a charge for every credit card transaction. As a customer, this isn't my problem.
