When I did I have discovered that I am Dyslexic and during my free lessons I when to the Dyslexia Institute which is just around the corner from there. As a private school goes this place is pretty good, not excellent, but good. I had a huge amount of support and care that came individually, first from the head teacher of this school and then secondly from nearly every teacher that I had teach me. And they all new mine name and everyone else's, as did the head teacher. This school is a Nursery; a primary school, secondary school and you can do your A Levels here if you are clever enough, (so to speak) where as I could not. In the end I only achieved a C in Information Computer Technology, which I was lucky to get at all. They have smart expensive school uniform; which you have to pay for and you also have to pay a large sum of money every so often. They do a lot of sport at Kings Monkton which is a school that reminds me of Hogwarts in the Harry Potter, fantasy novel series. They had a small library when I was there and the type of wood that surrounded it reminds me of Hogwarts, as does one part of the school which has a deep; oak, brown wood which made me think and dream that I was walking down the castle corridors. Overall I do recommend it as a great school to attend, if your clever than me academically you will get on fine there particularly. It also has a new, more moderner complex, which is really posh. I had private singing lessons there and you can also have private music lessons, during spare class time; which is costly pricey too, but worth it.

The brand new facilities are a revelation - clean, sharp styling and with innovative changing rooms and showers. David Beckham himself even visited here last year! There is more sport and fitness on offer than you can shake a stick at, so if your kids say they're bored then you can ship them off to the City Academy for a couple of hours to wear them out. To give you a brief idea: the centre offers Five-a-Side footie (indoor and outdoor), 11-a-side,Tennis, Basketball, Netball, Volleyball, Rugby, American Football, Cricket and Badminton. They run energetic courses in Boxing, Martial Arts and Fencing (en garde!). The space is huge - a massive indoor sports hall (35-a-side court), an outdoor 3G artificial grass 11-a-side pitch with goals; can be split into 4 outdoor 5-a-side courts; and 2 full size tennis courts and 1 kids tennis court, plus a great little cafe to recover in afterwards with a cuppa!
