The leadership team is excellent to work with and they run a tight ship. I wish we could stay there forever! Sunshine's hours allow working parents to comfortably balance career and family. Our child loves to go to Sunshine, and is always bringing home something new that he learned. As a parent, I like On the Road Again daycare. They moved few years ago to a new location in Exchange Street and I visited both locations. The current location is much bigger and cleaner. The teachers are responsible and very sensitive for the needs of the kids. For example, a teacher told me one day that my child was extremely quiet, so she took his temperature to make sure that he was not sick. During the first few months when I put my child in the daycare, the teachers got a lot of credits for him to quickly adjust the changes. They are also very responsible for the children's behaviors; they file detail accident reports to the daycare and the parents. Honestly, there is no "perfect" daycare in the world that fits all the needs for all the parents. But I feel that On the Road Again fits my child well. As a parent, I am happy to put him in there and also he is very happy to be there every day.

Our two-year-old daughter wakes up every day asking if she can go play at Monique's house. We really appreciate the open concept and independent learning that's encouraged at One Childhood- plus the outdoor space (including hobbit hole! and water tables) is hard to beat. The hours are great (7:30-5:30) and Monique and Howie are super flexible. Did I mention they have a chameleon the kids love? Monique and Howie also run a myriad of cultural activities for every holiday ranging from Christmas to Day of the Dead and Dwali. I'd be remiss if I didn't comment on the FOOD- it's unbelievable. I review the menus daily and while it all sounds good on paper, it looks and smells AMAZING! He took to Monique and Howie right away. When he first started going here he was still in diapers and when we were ready to potty train Monique was right on board and we were in undies in no time! I love that all of the meals are freshly prepared, lots of fruits and veggies. When my first started he was a picky 2 year old with limited foods he would eat. Once I changed up the meal time routine at home Monique followed suit at school and now he eats so many foods and things he would never touch before. I love that she sends pictures and daily/weekly updates on how he is doing. They do lots of outdoor play and do awesome field trips like the museum of science and even the beach! I plan to have my son here until he transitions to either preschool or kindergarten. I only wish I had found this daycare sooner!! The facility is very large, but has tight parking. It is located behind downtown Malden. The staff throughout the facility all seem very nice and always try to be helpful. Be prepared when school lets out for there to be a lot of extra activity here as that's one of the high populated times of the day toddlers and highschoolers alike.

Today 3/12/2020 at around 6:30 pm after all parent picked up their kid. The center sent out an…read moreemail to parents stating the center will be closed the next day morning until the end of the month for now due to the Corona Virus. Unlike other daycare which gives at least 24 hours notice. They decide to avoid any conversation with parents in person and just shot out an email after all parents leave with their children. Closing of the center to prevent community spread is understandable. However, the Center still demand parents to pay for the full tuition which is over 100 dollar a day while it remains closed is not very reasonable. In a time like this, school employees still need to get paid and the money comes from either the owner of the facilities or all the parents, but I wonder if they are getting their full-salary while parents paying full tuition or they are only getting paid on a discounted rate because that would be a shame.

My son ADORED their daughter and he oh so loved the owner and her husband. He never cried at drop off and was always happy at pickup. Every morning he was so excited to leave home and go to "school". They do lots of hands on arts and crafts and lots of cool field trips. She uses the BrightWheel app and was very consistent everyday with pictures, meal time, potty time, artwork and play time updates. I dropped one star because I felt like they would close somewhat often and unexpectedly. As a single working parent it was very, very hard. All of my immediate family work during the day so I had no one as backup care and couldnt afford to pay a backup sitter, but that is no fault to LLT. They are normal people with lives to tend to as well. If you are a married couple or a lucky parent with consistent backup care at home or extra funds to pay a backup babysitter, I would absolutely recommend enrolling your child here.
