She told us we should lock in a price soon because the cost of materials would be going up. We found a home we liked and put a down payment and picked out the decor and appliances. A few days later we got news from Louri that we had to change decor because the things she thought were available were not. She had also told us we needed to put down twenty percent, nonnegotiable. After personally speaking with the lender we found out that due to our credit we could put down five percent. In late February after the freeze we got a call from Louri asking us to come in. She said that the price of our home had gone up $10,000 because the cost of materials had gone up. This was in spite of our having signed a contract and the house should have already been made and close to being delivered. We had already paid to put the pad down, also. We are of the opinion that we were price gouged possibly because of the storm they think they will get more profit and down payment from someone else. We also had to jump through hoops to get our deposit back, they demanded a copy of the cleared checks in spite of the fact they had our money. We would not recommend this company. They are obviously there to cheat young soldiers who don't know better.

Thomas was not only friendly and helpful but he went OUT OF HIS WAY TO HELP get my son in at a last minute notice. He really went out of his way to help! Even at his own expense! After my son was approved and in Thomas went out of his way again to make sure everything was in order and my son was settled and happy. How refreshing it is to know he can come home to his own little piece of heaven but with the security of having such great people running it! Thomas didn't have to do ALL that he did to help out but he did! Thomas at Mobile Home Haven is truly an amazing human being and it won't be forgotten! X0

Absolutely horrible at communicating about getting things finished up inside with contractors. Our…read morehouse was moved onto our lot 2 months ago and has had utilities 6 weeks of that. We have made our first home payment and have no idea when we will get to move in because Palm harbor keeps giving us the run around on getting the skirting and finishing touches inside done. We are furious and it's been such a horrible experience. We thought we'd have the summer to move our family in and get settled before school starts...we may not even be in before school starts! UGH!
