Yes, I had to sit on hold for 30 minutes to schedule an appointment, but I was able to get in right away and start working with two AMAZING therapists. I have a lot of struggles in the car and they would let me call reception before my appointments so they could walk me through my drive there! I even had a few panic attacks in the waiting room and they have ALWAYS been attentive, helpful and kind. I have enjoyed every single encounter I've had here. I always leave in an amazing mood and am looking forward to my next appointment. No one ever answers, and if you leave a message, they call back anywhere from 5 minutes to 5 days later. Overall recommend, but I advise to call and literally wait on hold until someone answers - that's how I finally got scheduled. I was on hold for 74 minutes. HOWEVER, once I got an appointment (Easton location), I was seen quickly and have received wonderful care. The office is nice and the staff is great. I see Lacey Kolb, who is kind, compassionate, and sensitive to changing medications on a timeline I am comfortable with, as opposed to another practice I went to that immediately halted a med I had been on for 10 years.

I was ok with that as we are doing virtual appointments but I thought it was a little odd that they are advertised as being in Oregon. I go through the online forms and fill most of them out. Then I see that if you take any controlled substances that you will be drug tested and you will pay for them! I am 48 years old and have been med compliant my whole life. I am prescribed one controlled substance. I've been on it for years and all it takes is one look at my prescription history to show that I've always been compliant on it with no issues. I don't appreciate being treated like a criminal because my brain doesn't work correctly. I don't do drugs, I don't drink. But when a clinic called Gentle Psych treats us like criminals it's just not cool. I just want to warn people, especially folks in Oregon.

The staff, from the top down has shown me more compassion, caring and general concern for my well being then any organization I have been involved with. This past week, I decided to give them a call and try again. I left a message and missed the first return call, so I had to try again. The second time Angela immediately called me back. She was very polite, and set me up for an appointment the following Monday. Please be patient during your first visit. It can take up to 6-7 hours to do your assessment and meet with the psychiatrist. Remember, sometimes we have to go extra lengths to get the recovery we want. This is a newer business, so they are still working out some bugs, but after you meet with the psychiatrist things are smooth sailing. There are some really great people who work here, and they seem to be very serious about recovery. To the person who wrote the first review, I really hope you find the recovery you're searching for. So many addicts are so full of entitlement, they feel like everyone treats them bad because of who they are. Get over yourself. Sometimes we have to go to extra lengths for our recovery. I'm giving Eden 4 stars and I already gave them my suggestions. They aren't big enough yet to have someone attending incoming calls, and I get that. They will change that when they grow. They also need to work on speeding up the initial appointment. I arrived at 2pm and didn't leave until 7:15pm. I spoke to another patient who said he arrived at 12:30pm and didn't leave until 8pm. Finally the last suggestion was a change of location, which they are actually working on. Right now they are way up off of Sawmill Parkway. The new location will be closer to downtown. In closing, it was all worth it to be here in this program. Great professionals who are addicts like us that have many years of clean time. I'm looking forward to my next group meeting tomorrow. The process to get in may not be the smoothest, but it is worth it to follow through.

He gives me advice, validates my feelings, and gives me coping tools and ideas to improve my life. He's helped me with past traumas and got me in with my psychiatrist, Dr. Solis. I've gone from seeing him on a weekly basis to seeing him once a month! I truly don't know where I'd be without him. Dr. Solis has been really helpful at finding the right medications for me, and helps me manage them well! My only complaint is that sometimes I run out of refills at my pharmacy but she had already put them in. I'm unsure if that's just a technical difficulty or not.
