He paid attention to the full system including trenching, irrigation layout, gas line installation for the fire pit, plant placement, lighting, and more, making sure everything worked together piece by piece. What stood out most, and why we ultimately chose him, was how genuine he was about caring for our yard plans after talking with several other contractors around the valley and East Bay. I work as a creative lead and tend to be very particular about design and visual decisions, so I was honestly surprised how little feedback I had during the process. Juan's instincts and design sense were strong enough that I ended up trusting him to run with many of the decisions. Juan is extremely hands-on and proactive, and you can tell he takes real pride in his work. He was able to confirm that the leak was repaired properly from our previous contractor Rob Quenzer. He then restored the dry wall on the ceiling and matched the texturing to look like nothing ever happened. Kurt and Big John then came in and retextured the rest of our bathroom. Kurt called in his professional painter David. Because of Kurt's eye for color was obvious when he was able to match the unique color. The only difference was that they told me they would spray the gutters because they said it would look better but the wind wasn't cooperating and they rolled them. Which didn't matter because the guy that rolled them was a professional a.k.a David. The owner is Monty and he is a combat vet that will answer his calls. He was very patient with our HOA.
