My wife sought treatment at Livewell for trauma-related mental health care. Unfortunately our experience there was very troubling. Her medication specialist, Trish, repeatedly added medications during appointments until my wife was taking a large number of prescriptions. Eventually my wife expressed that she was uncomfortable continuing to add medications and wanted to focus more on therapy. During our last appointment with Trish, I was present and heard her say that the holiday season could be difficult and that my wife should lean a little heavier on her medications if needed. She also said that if my wife ran out early, she should call and it would not be a problem. Shortly after this, my wife experienced the death of a close family member. She followed the instructions she had been given and leaned on the medications during that difficult time. When she ran out slightly early and contacted the office as instructed, the response from Trish was extremely hostile and accusatory. Instead of receiving support, my wife was labeled as a drug seeker. Following that situation, she was denied further medication management and also refused counseling services including EMDR therapy that had previously been discussed. Communication with the office was also difficult. Whitney at the front desk often did not return urgent medication calls, and interactions with Mary were consistently dismissive and unhelpful. When my wife attempted to leave a review about her experience, Michelle, the manager, contacted her and told her the review needed to be removed and claimed that mentioning staff members by name was illegal, which is simply not accurate. The only positive outcome from this situation came from Cathy, who overheard what was happening and later helped my wife continue receiving care outside of Livewell. Mental health patients deserve compassion, stability, and support--especially during times of grief and trauma. Our experience at Livewell was the opposite. If you are considering treatment here, I strongly encourage you to seek help elseware. This was the most traumatizing experience we ever had!!! read more

I've seen a number of therapists lately, and I've never felt so supported. These therapists will talk as long as you want to, even if it means they have to do some rescheduling. I will say, the one downside (and totally overcome-able) is that the reception staff seem to struggle to keep up with some of the policies. So far though, they're super forgiving when there are misunderstandings and work hard to keep up with the intense scheduling issues that can arise. Scheduling 5/5 Respecting 5/5 Communication 4.5/5 Staffing 4/5 Patient Interaction 10/5 - they are seriously the best!! They know why they get paid so much, haha! Amazing people who care and treat you as you should be, with respect and compassion. The TMS treatment worked wonders. COMPLETE RIP OFF, Heads up these people are antimaskers, beware. If that's not enough, they don't give you a full hour per session. My therapist was a wolf in sheep's clothing. They get you in the door, and then as your sessions continue, less support. I also found that the therapist over time, pretty much did the whole "talk at me" instead of "talking to me". This all being a time of complete crisis in my life. Once your hour is up, they leave you hanging until next time. When I told the therapist I couldn't see them anymore, due to lack of funding, they acted like it was my own shameful fault. Avoid this place, It's a SCAM read more

I found my experience to very helpful they state I the beginning of the process that it will be hard at first so anyone who doesnt give time to themselves as well as the intake from the doctors you would obviously be disgruntled by the service. You have to opened minded, you have to try and be willing to work hard at what they teach. if your looking for a place to get help I recommend livewell. read more

i really would love to say how much i love my therapist it took a really long time for me to find the person i needed to help me with everything i have going on, i can`t say enough good about my therapist and how happy i really am about finding the right person for me. the person who matched me up with her is so amazing too i love both her and my therapist for helping me to get the help i really needed. if anyone is struggling badly with trauma, ptsd, dark trauma, depression, stress, anxiety like how i am i 100% recommend Mindy so so much.
