The receptionist are always kind and offer to take your coat right away. They then always ask if you want something to drink (coffee, tea, water...) while you wait (I usually get there 10-15 min early). My favourite stylist is Laura! Perhaps because she was the first person I saw there, but I have always been very happy with the way she cuts and dyes my hair. I have had to sit with other stylist as well whom were very very competent and skilled while Laura was on holidays. When you first sit in the chair, it is very important for them to learn more about you, and what your vision of your new hairdo. It's usually a good 5-10 min talk to make sure that they recreate what you want. They give really useful tips and great advice to how to shape hair, etc. I hope this review helps someone who is debating to try the salon or not! Very friendly environment and talented staff! :)

The prices are incredibly reasonable without sacrificing quality. It's not a salon where the same tech does everything, the girls who do lashes have been doing nothing but lashes for years for many satisfied customers, present company included. Usually at these prices you would be getting someone who usually does nails making a mess of your lashes or doing small sections of strip lashes and calling them extensions, where at 6 Degrees you get the real deal for a lot less than other lash extension places. The ladies here are friendly, fun and gorgeous and it feels like hanging out with friends with the bonus of leaving pampered and prettier than you arrived! I'm someone that wants my facials to show results so this is perfect. I visit every 8-12 weeks for an Ultra-Cryo Facial with Ruth. She starts with microdermabrasion, followed by a device that emits incredibly cold air (twice) and lastly a mixture of different colour lasers. None of the treatmeatment is painful but I never quite get to a place of deep relaxation or sleep. The cold air is kind of jolt to your system. Thankfully while going over my face she never leaves the concentration of cold in one spot too long so it doesn't hurt (at most it's slightly uncomfortable). Basically feels like a super cold winter flurry on your face. To protect your eyes with the lasers she provides light blockers (like you'd wear at a tanning salon). The laser portion doesn't feel like anything but can be a little noisy (another reason it's never quite relaxing). Ruth always gives me the full rundown of where my skin is at and what I may need in between visits. However, I never feel upsold on products I don't need. All in all though my skin looks great within just a few days of a treatment. I highly recommend visiting The Freeze Clinic.

They are pretty average with other spas. I am a believer in spending more for better facial products instead of drug store brands anyways. In terms of the services, they usually have specials going on, which is a great way to try them out. Other than facials, I've also had a massage, manicure and pedicure done at Ici. They were all great. The woman who did my mani/pedi did such a great job that it lasted for many weeks. The only negative is that the place is somewhat outdated in decor and ambience. They could use a reno. The beds for facials and massages are not the best (still ok) but I've seen better. The robes seem a little worn out and the pedicure chairs are old. The receptionist who dealt with this issue also told me that multiple people paid a promotional price that didn't include HST. I'm disappointed that the business didn't try to make things right, instead shifting the blame when it clearly wasn't my fault, and other customers were also affected.

In reality this place is a dump with a paint job, dirty floors and even a hole in the floor. It might have been nice when it first opened. There is a nice projector tv and I saw a customer order a glass of white wine. Not worth the $60 for a pedicure that I could have done myself.
