It seems like many of the successful stores in the Manaira Shopping Mall have been renovating…read morelately and this large bookstore is no exception. The renovation was a success--its façade has much more personality. They decorated with some sandstone tiles which give it a warm, welcoming look. Books in Brazil are relatively expensive, but Livraria Leitura (which means "Reading Bookstore"--not very original name, admittedly) has sales pretty frequently and they really slash prices. Service remains very good here. I visit here whenever I am in the Mall and I recommend it.
