For starters, Many was amazing at correspondence and messaged me even if his crew was going to be a few minutes late/early. His crew came in and did an impeccable job, the detailing of their work was so concise. There were minor finishes that needed to be done and we had Many's team complete that after the visitors had left. Once his team came back, not only that they completed the job as promised but they also touched up areas that were not even his responsibility. Got a fair price and arranged work to be done back in May....waited ...waited...and waited..work to be done this wee k July..then Mandip gave me his agreement...should have known! Mandip insisted 50% CASH up front with NO guarantee of start date OR end date in writing nor refund if date pushed out...NO written warranty, NO liability for any damage to our property NO required proof of WSIB for this workers..when asked to modify his agreement, he refused ....Wow. Shame Contractors like this still in business. If he has your money hold your breath until the work is done or before CRA or Ministry of Labour knocks on his door... potential huge penalties and legal liabilities ..that non refundable deposit will be useful for him...Good luck!
