The delightful lady, Glenda Kenyon is very welcoming and gives and informative tour including pictures to look at and gives all an insight into what it's like to live 'on location'. You are welcomed to take lots of pictures and even use the bathroom if required. Many of the street scenes took place in Trinity Street and Glenda will point them all out to you. (Stacey & Gwen, Uncle Bryn and Doris all live here) Glenda does not accept money for the tour but if you feel like donating, her favourite charity is the RSPCA and donations are optional. Last year, she raised close to £1000 for the cause. You are also encouraged to write a message to the shows cast in a visitors book. Well worth a visit!!

This is a tiny little windswept station with some blue station houses, located close to Barry and about seven miles from the center of Cardiff heading into the valleys. It's out in the Vale of Glamorgan, and it's pretty helpful for people that live near here to get in and out of Cardiff. It doesn't have a permanent car park, so you can't really leave your car here, which is kind of annoying, and why I'd avoid using it really. I like the way the Towers look on the bridge, which gives it a unique look and differentiates it from all the other stations. The ticket office bizarrely closes at 9:45 in the morning and 12 in the afternoon on weekends. That makes it a little difficult but I guess it works for locals. I added a star for the two towers so to speak. Not that I'm a Tolkein fan.

I had no confidence driving because I knew I would have a problem and getting behind the wheel was becoming less and less. After another weekend breakdown and despairing of what to do, I saw mention of a mobile mechanic. I had never thought to use one but looked online and found Mobi Tec so I called Cliff, I have not looked back since. Cliff came out on the Sunday and diagnosed the problem and it was sorted within 2 days. He has also been back, at no extra cost, to check the car and make sure its ok. He came today to do a service and check over ready to take for the MOT. Nothing is too much trouble. His work is of a very high standard and I will now, never use, anyone but Cliff.

I ended up having to contact trading standards as under the goods and service act, mechanics are obliged to give a customer a receipt. After time consuming chasing I got the receipt. Cliff kindly gave me a free full service for the distress that was caused. But not only did he not turn up, after leaving me to wait for 30 minutes but he also failed to answer his phone yet again. Following this experience I decided to add him to the complaints list of trading standards. But he stated that he does not care as it was only a freebie. How professional?
