Dubbed "Mexican Denny's" by some friends, I was really excited to try this spot. The wait on Sunday around 1pm was about 30 minutes and not that bad, though I think it's because we avoided the majority of the Sunday brunch rush. We were served these super cute mini conchas when we got sat and I loved them! I got the drinks trio because I felt indecisive but I was really disappointed because the drinks were WAY too sweet. But that's a personal opinion, so take that with a grain of salt. I had the chilaquiles and I thought they were just fine. Not out of this world, but definitely did the trick. I left satisfied! Not ecstatic over my meal, but content. I'm not sure I would come back just because there are so many other great options for Mexican food. read more

Seating was fairly quick for a Saturday afternoon. The waitress was attentive in the beginning. The food came out timely but my egg was missing from the Classic breakfast. They brought out two eggs and I thought, "Oh that's nice, they gave extra." However, when I reviewed the check they charged me for the egg that was supposed to come with the meal, that I never received AND for the two eggs that were brought to me after I told them. I brought this to the attention of the waitress and she argued with me. I am not a confrontational person so we just paid the bill and left. Well, that was a weird experience. Needless to say, we'll never go back. Good thing we don't live in the area. The service was not great and neither was the food but the dessert food was decent. I wanted to close this by saying that the man, I think he was the manager, was very nice. I did receive a free crepe by writing this review so I think I'll bump it up to another star instead of one just for him. He seemed extremely busy which is why I didn't further my complaint in-person. read more

The service was ok, we had to flag our waitress down multiple times for service or refills or anything at all and there wasn't anyone there besides 2 other tables. Now for the food; we ordered the loaded asada fries, tbh there was nothing "Loaded" about it. There were more fries than there were toppings. The Loaded Steak breakfast plate, we ordered the steak Medium but received Well Done Steak bites. The Crunchy Chicken Enchilada was like a deconstructed enchilada, wasn't too bad in my opinion but I honestly wouldn't get it again. TL/DR: food was blah, kid and friends were happy. One and done. It just wasn't for me. My kid and her friends are excited to come here. I went for my default country fried steak and eggs and it just wasn't even as good as Denny's. You could see that the egg was sitting under the warmer for a while as it started to harden over, and the gravy was thinning out more like water. They forgot my pancakes as well. The other Mexican style western breakfasts was okay, but I can't eat a lot of cheese, so it was a no go for me. This time we went over the heat wave, and someone left the front door open for five minutes and it made the restaurant feel like a sauna. It was like 85-90 inside. I wouldn't go back, but my kid would. Maybe if I got the breakfast burrito, it would've been better. read more

I'll start with the food, the Asada is the only good thing they have, it's very flavorful. Everything else is mediocre, especially the coffee. I decided to stop by this weekend since I'd never been to Loaded Cafe before, though I'd heard good things. Unfortunately, this turned out to be one of the worst customer service experiences I've had. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When we arrived, the place was almost completely empty which in hindsight, should've been a red flag.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] After being seated, it took quite a while for our server to even take our drink order. We decided to start with the mozzarella sticks, but when they arrived, they were small, burnt, and looked deflated. At $15 for five pieces, it felt like a total rip-off. We didn't even bother trying them because they looked completely unappetizing and I knew my child wouldn't eat them either. We also noticed that every other table had conchas, yet we were never given any. When our server returned to take our main order, we asked for her recommendation and ended up ordering the chilaquiles. A few minutes later, I realized we hadn't ordered anything for my child. At that point, it would've been helpful if the server had asked if we needed anything else. A basic part of good service. The chilaquiles took about 30 minutes to arrive, which felt excessive considering the restaurant was nearly empty. Then we waited another 10-15 minutes just for my child's food. Throughout the entire time, our server never checked in on us. I eventually had to flag down a different staff member just to get the check. Overall, this visit was a huge disappointment. Poor service, subpar food, and a lack of basic attentiveness made it a place I won't be returning to. read more
