I am very disappointed. I have been here more than once purchasing plants and pots. Last week I…read morebought a "wishlist" plant from here, in person. When I got it home and took off the cover pot (which I also purchased) I found it had been sitting in water in the cover pot and it was rootbound, but the roots hanging in the bottom of the pot were rotten. No biggie it happens, which is why I always repot the same day I bring a new plant home. I removed the actual pot and there was so much root rot, it actually stunk. I trimmed off all of the rot, repotted in fresh soil and (I think) managed to save the plant (we'll see). I called the shop to let them know on Monday. The owner seemed to think I was actually lying to her, when I just called to let her know she should likely check the other potted plants. She told me "if it was that bad, it would be dead". Had someone without my knowledge and habits with plants HAD bought it, it would have been dead by Monday. I didn't ask for a refund or store credit because I have been able to save the plant. However the owners attitude when I called to actually HELP HER BUSINESS has ensured I won't be back, no matter how bored I get at the laundromat, or how much "plant money" I have. Someone needs to review their "best practices" when dealing with customers.
