Nice breakfast, great coffee and pleasant atmosphere. Not the cheapest breakfast but was very tasty.

The best coffee in Kingston by far, so pleased they seem to be keeping up with the big chains.

It is strictly takeaway as there is really no place to sit and eat. The small shop is very straightforward with just a deli-like counter from which to see the goods and order. We were there on a very busy Saturday morning. We queued up in a line of people that extended out the door. They were pretty good about keeping the line moving, however, and we placed our order within 6 or 7 minutes of joining the queue. My wife had a Peanut Butter-Filled Plain Bagel, which she liked quite a lot. I had Smoked Salmon and Cream Cheese on an Everything Bagel. It was very good. The service was very efficient and reasonably pleasant and the prices were quite fair. We will go back if we ever have the chance to do so in the future.

However my partner inhaled the salmon so maybe I just ordered the wrong thing? But surely the salt beef is their most popular item and I just couldn't take it. The staff didn't seem too friendly either. They were just all about business.

Both very sweet and eager to help serve us. There weren't very many customers, so we had the pick of restaurant in terms of tables we choose a really nice one in a zen feeling room. The son upon asking us about drinks told us they make a really good chai. So my daughter and I ordered that. True to word they do and they included a cookie for us to try with it! The sandwiches, paninis and bagels we ordered were good as well with one hiccup...My daughter ordered an egg and avocado sandwich and the avocado was not ripe, so that was disappointing to her. My husband and I enjoyed our food. They had some games at the table so it was fun to play those while we waited. Overall, a good experience, it was relaxing and as we were leaving the son gave my daughter a pastry and said he was sorry about the avocado. We thought that was a really nice gesture and it was appreciated.

Some of the staff can be a bit short, but on the whole they're friendly enough. They've got tables now to make it a little more cafe style but there are some things (mostly beef related) that they don't allow to be eaten in store. Most of their pastries look good and the ones that I've tried are tasty if a little stodgy. Not being close to a tube station, I don't visit that often but if given the chance, they're one of the better bakeries out there.

Nice thing about this place is that they have a large variety of pastries and bread, as well as several big coolers with prepared sandwiches, egg salad, cream cheese, etc., and they don't run out of bread in the late afternoon like some bakeries. Wish I could pay with a car for transactions under 10 pounds though. I don't get why that's such a problem everywhere. I mean, ffs, just charge me the extra 20p for the transactions costs or whatever, don't make me waste 15 minutes of my time walking to a nearby ATM.
