I first chose Local Solutions based on Google reviews. I own several properties in St.John's, Newfoundland and Labrador. I have a family friend take care of the basics for the tenants as needs arise. Had some more technical issues in one property come up with electrical. Smoke detectors were going haywire for no apparent reason. Local Solutions was great to deal with over the phone and went over some possible scenarios with me. I was a little nervous sending people over to my property without being there to solve a problem that could snowball quickly. Much to my relief they were able to identify the issue quickly and repaired a faulty harness for a fair price. The tenants were pleased as there was no mess left to clean up but especially that the fire alarms would stop screaming in the middle of the night randomly. Needless ti say when I used them again when a dryer had no heat. Again I received the same courteous service over the phone and they fixed the heating element within one hour of service. One things for certain, problems will keep arising in my rentals but I will definitley be using Local Solutions for my appliance repair in St.John's. I highly recommend this company! read more

I received an email reply within less than an hour and they showed up that same evening, even when it was late in the day when I contacted them for service. They were knowledgeable and helpful immediately and they identified the issue with just my preliminary details which was confirmed during the onsite visit. Although, they have to come back because the part is not locally available, I have to commend them on the organization and prompt reply and visit.
