I made a reservation for a weekend brunch thinking that it would be crowded, but wasn't. However, it is good to make one to avoid disappointment. Tables are placed near to each other and noise level is pretty high, thus having private conversations would be tough. My waitress took a pretty long time to get back to my table and I had to search for her to get my order placed. My partner and I had the Anaheim grilled chicken (changed to fried chicken), loaded baked potato soup, and the smoked salmon avocado toast with poached eggs. My food was served room temperature, especially the potato soup, which made the soup taste blah. One of the poached eggs was overcooked, which was fine since it was a difficult ingredient to master. The fried chicken was dry, and room temperature fried chicken with sauce just didn't taste good. Food portions were just right for one hungry person. There are outdoor, indoor, and bar seatings. Parking is plenty and free.

Veggie burger was good and very big. Had it with sweet potatoes fries which were delicious. My friend had the chicken salad with fruit and chips which she said was good. Service was quick and efficient. Place was crowded and noisy. Conversation was difficult. Parking lot was full at noon in Friday.

Hidden gem!!! Wow this place was good. Came here for brunch and got the recover burrito and the huevos rancheros. The food was fresh and prepared with care. Well seasoned and large portions. The restaurant was clean and busy but the service was still excellent. We will happily return to try their dinner menu.

What a fun spot! Really nice atmosphere and relaxed vibe. We ordered the bacon jam club sandwich, the gyro plate, roasted beet poke bowl and the Local burger. All were great, no issues with anything. I want to highlight the burger however and it's juicy beef. The fries were decent, might like to try their homemade chips next time. Servers were attentive and helpful and kept our water glasses filled. Really happy to have this fun restaurant in the neighborhood.

This place is a must-try! We went for lunch on a Thursday and were completely blown away by the renovations. It really looks like a brand new place. The service and food were great. I'll definitely be back!

Local Table is new to our area so we had to check it out. We went in to get a seat but only outside was open unless you wanted to wait 45 minutes for inside( which we did because it was chilly outside) . We got our name and number on the list and went to wait in the car. 20 minutes went by and I asked my husband if he received the you're on the waiting list text and he didn't so he went inside and the lady said that we got a text 20 minutes ago (which was when we were in the restaurant) which we didn't....so we were seated immediately since there were seats open and others were just walking in and being seated....this was weird to us...since we really shouldn't have had to wait. We sat off from the bar and our waitress was amazing. We got a little of everything and it was all soo good! We got the Crab cake Benedict, french toast, Philly Cheesesteak, Frozen Mango drink and kids plate. The restaurant is very nice and spotless. Im glad we didn't let our experience with check in make us check out. We will definitely be back!

So this place has been so many things but this may be the best! Seeing reviews we decided to check it out. The menu is diverse, something for everyone! I think the highest priced item, a steak is around $30. So very reasonably priced. I had the lemon pasta with chicken. The chicken was very tender and the flavor was great. Took half of it home. My husband had the honey ginger glazed salmon and it was amazing! He got green beans instead of the veggies and said they were kind of bland. We both got a slice of bread that was buttered and grilled and it was really good! We drank water and our bill before tip was $47. The ambience was nice, music not too loud. Lots of people but didn't feel crowded. I will say we hardly saw a server, seemed to change part way through or they were tag teaming. We had at least one manager ask how things were. They put a water carafe at the table so we really didn't need anything. At one point someone apologized for the wait on food but it was maybe 15 minutes from ordering to arrival. We will def be back!

Just what this area desperately needed. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Nicely revamped inside. Nice bar area. Menu has a great selection. Decided to get meatloaf which was very tasty and seasoned well. Mashed potatoes with the sauce was also a nice touch. The green beans could have been sautéed better since they were hard as well as the garlic bread. Lemon chicken pasta was delicious. Also, I noticed everyone needed straws and most drink were served with barely any ice. Hope they can remedy that. The only con is with our young inexperienced waitress. The manager was there to swoop in and I appreciated that. Will come back to try more of the menu.

I got the burger American and it was amazing! My waitress Shana really was attentive even though the restaurant was packed. Very pretty inside and a good variety to pick from.

They do not serve hotdogs I repeat - they do not serve hot dogs!…read more They serve much more than that. I came here for an event and was surprised at how good and fresh the food was. The staff was so attentive and knowledgeable on all the foods. It's American food, but they do a lot of fusion, so there was something for everyone. My favorite of the night was the loco moco fried rice and the lemon cheesecake! The cheesecake was zesty and not overly sweet, which I appreciated because it let me taste all the distinct flavors going on. The curry chicken salad with chickpeas I know my husband would've loved, I ate it for him lol. I don't know what it was but the bottom of it had a dressing that made it very delectable. I was on the outside on the patio that had a large fireplace and it was so cozy, I can imagine it being very inviting during winter time. Even though I drove from Cypress to Richmond, it was worth the drive. The general manager was super friendly and I learned they have a Cypress location so you know where I'll be going!

This was a very disappointing experience tonight, which is interesting because last time I came…read morehere it was amazing and over the top quality. First, tonight my family and I came into the restaurant and were not greeted by any hostess or employee for about 7-10 minutes. We understood though because everyone seemed to be in a rush since it was busy. We patiently waited then we were finally seated. Our server took our drink orders first as usual, got us our drinks then walked away. We waited a good while for her to come back since we were wanting to order an appetizer, and that took forever. Once we finally were able to place our appetizer order, it took another 10 minutes for it to come out. Again, we tried our best to be nice since it was busy. Now to the meals.. we put in our order for our dishes and proceeded to wait about 30-35 minutes. There is only 3 of us! Once everyone got their meals we realized it just.. wasn't the best. - My mother ordered a customized pick 3 meal, her roasted chicken sandwich didn't have any roasted chicken, she said it was all lunch meat? And her bread was as hard as a rock. The "truffle fries" that she had to pay extra for didn't have any truffle, when asked about it.. we were informed it was just truffle "oil". What. Lastly, she didn't even receive her soup. They forgot about it. We had to remind them about the forgotten soup for my mother to finally receive it. She said it was not even good. - My mediterranean chicken bowl was..okay, but I did notice that last time I was here I had a good amount of chicken. This time.. I had barely any chicken. We received 0 REFILLS on our drinks, so by the time we ordered dessert we couldn't even finish it since we were so thirsty and the chocolate was so rich. In the end, the rush died down so much where once we sat up to go we were wondering why service was still awful when no one was in the restaurant. The manager did come to apologize, both our server and manager were very nice. They decided to take off the sandwich from our bill and remake the sandwich and soup to go. Once we got home, my mother realized the soup in our to go package was actually the correct soup, and that at the restaurant she has no idea what soup they brought her. Overall, this experience tonight has been awful. We went home thirsty and hungry.

I came for a work dinner yesterday evening and got my tried and true creste di gallo. The pasta was tasted good however the chicken was dry. I might have just found one of my new favorite restaurants in Houston. What a great experience!…read more Recently, a good friend dined here and immediately called me to tell me how great it was. She then text our friends group and said we all had to come together and we did just that. She made reservations in advance as this place is popular thanks to recent Michelin Bib Gourmand awards as well as many other accolades. Walk ins are welcome as well. Our reservation was later in the evening so after a night of bar hopping, we ride shared in which I think is one of the best options as parking is limited here or you have to find street parking in the neighborhood. This place is literally a house turned into a restaurant. Inside is just multiple rooms with a couple of tables. It makes for a unique, intimate dining experience, perfect for a date night. In our case, we were a group of nine so we got patio seating. The patio is spacious and well kept, and if the weather cooperates, a great place to hang. One thing that really stood out to me is the amazing ambience of this place. I was told that the bartenders pick the music for the night from the owners extensive vinyl collection. Once the album is in, they play it in it's entirety. The sound system was systeming and on top of the great company and food, we were totally vibing with the music. Customer service was amazing. Every staff member we came across was so friendly, especially our server. The menu here changes. There are some mainstays, but they like to change things up. Their website shows current menus daily. We were told that family style is the best way to experience this restaurant. I am one of those people that will always listen to the staff and go with their suggestions. Our group went through quite a bit of their menu from apps, entrees and desserts. I loved that our server and staff brought our food out one by one in what they thought was the best progression so we could take a culinary journey. We started off light with their popular Dilly Bread. Best bread I've had in awhile. Next was the Texas Tartare. It was my first ever tartare and it was delicious. We then moved on to Fingerlingin Good which was a crispy potato dish with chili crisp and mascarpone. It was potatoes elevated to the highest level and so so good. Next up was Beer Battered Sweet Tots. I didn't think sweet potatoes could be that good. Our first entree was a vegan dish called the Carroty Kid. I could seriously become a vegan if all dishes tasted like this. It was curried. A bowl of jasmine rice would've made it a complete meal. Next we tried another famous Nobie's dish called Nonno's Pasta. Handmade, perfectly cooked tagliatelle with a delicious bolognese. I wouldn't share this next time. Ok, I will, but it was that good. On to the heavier dishes. First up was the Jamon With Your Bad Self. This came highly recommended and it did not disappoint. It was favorite heavy entree. It was high quality, iberico pork steak with shaved brussels and all kinds of other tasty ingredients that when combined made such a tasty bite. We then went to the sea with the Drops of Grouperter. It was good, but not something I would order again. It was a little too smoky for my liking. Our biggest dish that came market priced was the Kick His Ass Seabass. This was a whole fish that was presented beautifully on a platter with all the accouterments to make your own elevated fish tacos. We left no morsel of fish behind. It was absolutely delicious. One of the things this place is really known for is their pies. This was the part I was most excited about. Just like their menu, their pies change up. We got all their offerings that night which they presented on one big platter of goodness. Their main stay and I believe always on the menu is the famous Olive Oil Cake. It's not a pie, but I can see why this is such a popular dessert. I can't even describe it, you just have to try it to understand. The pies we had were the Black Bottom Strawberry Pie, Banana Rum, and the Peanut Butter Pie. I would order all of them again. We all had a difference of opinion on which was the best, but my fave was the Banana Rum. Overall, I was highly impressed with this place and kind of mad at myself for waiting so long to make it here. It had made it's way to the top of my list of favorite restaurants in Houston. I will be back.

Boy I really wanted to like this place but I may be one of the few people in Houston that doesn't…read more I had reservations for the outside patio and we were immediately greeted by the water boy. He ended up being one of the best aspects of our experience that evening. Our waitress wasn't nearly as good. We started by asking for ice in the water from the waitress since they just give you room temp water. After 10 mins of seeing her serve other tables and ignoring our request, we then figured the water boy would make it happen...and sure enough he did. We then ordered the grilled oysters, which are very lightly cooked, almost seemingly steamed more than anything, but they were very good regardless of the cooking method with the sauces and garnishes and pickle juice added. Next up was ordering the entrees. The menu here is a little strange with numerous vegan choices with strange titles and only a few items with protein. To top it off, there are not many choices period. The waitress explained that the left side is basically the apps, and the right side is basically the entrees. I knew I wanted to try the wagyu flat iron steak which is priced pretty high here, compared to other wagyu flat irons I've had at other restaurants across the US. We couldn't really decide on a 2nd main dish then the waitress mentioned the off the menu special which was a scallop pasta so we picked that thinking it sounded delicious. The entrees come out about 15 mins later, and we take our first bites and we both thought, oh no, if we share the other person across from me isn't going to like this dish because it's too salty. I tried the steak first and noticed the sauce being extra salty, then I tried the pasta and the pasta was way worse, but the scallops didn't seem to be affected. We immediately told the waitress the next time she stopped by....and she just said okay, and walked away. I figured she would go get the manager....but nope...she just kept on serving other tables. At this point we thought to ourselves only the oyster app was decent.....and no reason to look at the dessert menu since we had already spent over $100 on food we could hardly eat. Sure enough, the waitress stops by a 2nd time and asks if we'd like to see the dessert menu. I couldn't leave fast enough and told her we'll skip. Needless to say we both left hungry as the portions were not only not edible, but also fairly small. The water boy also stopped by and offered to turn on the heater if we get cold. Boy, I wish he was our waiter instead. For a supposedly Michelin-starred restaurant, I feel they really got this one wrong.

Food: - Chicken liver pate: 10/10 SOOOO good! The bread that comes with it is amazing too. There is some sweet jam that is paired with it also. It doesn't overpower the main pate flavor, but I could probably do without the sweetness. - Pressed leeks: 10/10 I haven't had leeks too often in my life but this was really good! The sauce that they put it on pairs so well with it and really makes the dish. Must try even if you think you don't like leeks. - Venison tartare: my husband loves tartare and mustard so he loved this dish. I despise mustard and am lukewarm on tartare. The mustard taste was so strong. I hated this dish but I'm also not a good critic for it, so no rating from me. - Pappardelle: 7/10 Simple and classic. Not worth getting on your first visit but a nice dish on its own. - Butternut squash: 8/10 I can't remember much about this dish except that I enjoyed it :) - Pork collar Milanese: 9/10 Like a much better version of a schnitzel - Dumplings: 9/10 Just read the description on the menu and you know it's gonna be good. Ricotta? Brown butter? Yup amazing! Creamy, delicate, but not just a big mush that makes me want to gag. - Lamb ribs: 9/10 Nicely smoked, all around good balanced flavor - Wagyu bavette: 10/10 So good! Tender and juicy. But at this point in the meal, I'm usually pretty stuffed and the portion size is pretty decent. I would enjoy it even more if we didn't always order so many other small plates haha - Mushrooms: 9/10 Mushroom haters, please try this! You may change your mind! It changed my friend's mind that also doesn't like mushrooms. Service: - Always a good time. Checks in but not overbearing. Ambiance is slightly upscale but still relaxed. Doesn't feel uppity. - One time, we got free dessert. We were the last party in there so they probably just wanted to get rid of it. The cookie was so good! We decided to get a bunch of dishes and share. 10/10- chicken liver pâté with seasonal jam and focaccia - smooth - creamy - paired with the sweet jam 7/10 -kanpachi crudo, satsuma ponzu, crispy sunchoke, mustard seed - fish was tender - slight sweet and crunch bits 9/10- mesquite smoked lamb ribs, white BBQ sauce, rosemary - Lamb was very tender and fell of the bone, sauce was tangy. 10/10- marinated mussels on grilled bread, calico' beans - mussels were flavorful, bread was toasted just right provided a nice vehicle for all the toppings. I enjoyed this dish. 9/10 - pork collar milanese, white anchovy, fennel, apple. - very balanced - savory crispy pork and the topping gave freshness and sweet and tanginess. 8/10- roast chicken and potatoes, lemon aioli, herbed schmaltz - dining companions enjoyed the this dish - moist chicken and potatoes were tasty 5/10 - campanelle, crawfish, Calabrian chile, crab butter - pasta was nice but the spicy sauce overpowered the crab butter and crawfish.
