The food is pretty terrible. So, I wouldn't recommend coming here to eat. My friends got a taco and said it was horrible. I got cheese quesadilla and it wasn't good, either. It was the wimpiest, thinnest quesadilla ever. I don't know why it would be hard for anyone to make Mexican food. We can make this type of stuff better at home. For drinking or playing a game there or something other than eating, it's fine.

Sigh. Disappointing on multiple levels. The food - very tiny portions priced very high. Service - prompt, but not charming and I guess the bartender had just been having a cigarette outside, because when he came over and exhaled, the cigarette smoke came out. Ugh. That's so 1970. The ambience? None. I live in this neighborhood, and when I saw the signs go up a few months ago, I groaned. There are some very good taco places within walking distance. Why would anyone open up yet another one, particularly at this level? The rest of the menu is not inspiring. Need a taco? Skip this place and go anywhere else.

Since opening, the food indeed has gotten way better! We went and got the Birria tacos and the tuna tostada appetizer. The servings are small so keep that in mind when ordering, but the flavors are jam packed. The consume paired perfectly and the birria was delicious! The tuna tostada was small and mighty. It's a local spot that isn't very busy and sometimes you have to flag a waiter down. I loved the flavor but the prices have gone up. So I guess it's the price you pay for increasing quality. The restaurant itself has a woodsy environment with wood accents everywhere.

The gooppiness of the bar....hint a sanitized wet rag...works wonders.

It's ok. They have a good happy hour and daily specials. The food is ok. Could be better. I wish they would wipe the bar off more it's sticking.

First time customer while traveling in the area. I was skeptical due to star ratings but was assured by a local that they had worked out the kinks since opening and hired a new chef. The biggest bonus of this business is the atmosphere. The bar was busy and comfortable. Bartenders attentive and super friendly. This would be a great place to come with a group of friends to play pool and games and hang out together. Great location. We tried a little bit of everything starting with the Locales Burrito which will assure you will not leave hungry. Comes with a choice of meat and the ground beef was very tasty. We also tried two street tacos, which by the way, are supposed to be small, that's why they're called street tacos. Several choices. They could have used a little more spice but they hit the spot nicely for the smaller appetite or big appetite with more choices! The chips come with a choice of three salsas. The Mango salsa with jalapeño has the perfect kick and was my favorite. Lastly, we tried the wings. I like my wings extra crispy with sauce on the side. These wings were delicious with a thin coating and perfect crisp. We had the bacon jalapeño jam on the side. It was sweet and tasty. Not too spicy and complemented the wings for a unique change from traditional buffalo wings. All and all this is a fun joint with good food!

When we arrived, most of the covered seating and heater areas were already taken, so we ended up sitting in one of the uncovered sections. As it turned out, that was a blessing because the views were amazing. From where we were seated, we had beautiful views of downtown Denver and the surrounding cityscape. Between the skyline, lights, and rooftop atmosphere, it created a memorable evening. What impressed me most was the ambiance. The lounge had a lively but relaxed energy, and people were friendly and approachable. It felt like the kind of place where you could enjoy a date, meet new people, network, or simply unwind with friends over drinks and conversation. My date ordered food, but I honestly don't remember everything he had. I wasn't particularly impressed with the food, but since this is a rooftop lounge, the atmosphere was really the star of the show for me. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and would return for the views, the social atmosphere, the drinks, and the opportunity to meet interesting people. Perfect for: Date nights, networking, socializing, drinks with friends, and enjoying Denver's skyline.

Bedlam was recommended to us for late night drinks by staff working in one of the restaurants at our hotel. During our short stay in Denver, we went to Bedlam twice. The first time was around 11:30 on a Thursday night. We had a few cocktails along with a cheese and charcuterie plate. The second time was around 12:30 on a Saturday night when we came in for a night cap. The first time we came in, it wasn't too busy, and we were encouraged to sit wherever we wanted. The bar was full so we chose a small table. Our server gave us menus, though specials were written on a chalkboard above the bar. We each tired a couple of cocktails and had a shot called the Master Shot. We also chose the make-your-own charcuterie board. Our favorite drink was the Woo Girl, which allowed us to choose our spirit of choice. I chose gin and my friend chose tequila. When we returned a couple of nights later, we knew already we were going to order the Woo Girl cocktail. It was packed on a Saturday night, but there was a small table in back where they seated us. This bar is more for spending time with the friends you come with, rather than mingling, as staff seats you at a table. It doesn't seem like they offer standing room or just squeezing in, though maybe we just didn't experience that. That said, all in all, I really enjoyed Bedlam and recommend it to anyone going to Denver.

My friends and I tried a number of the signature cocktails and had a few hot toddys that were super good. I'm personally a big gin and soda fan and loved ther housemade tonic that was in their classic G&T. Did not try any of the food but the dawgs were definitely would be tempting if I was hungry. Loved the decor and the plants all up in the space. The space is a bit more dimly lit and I think of a reasonable volume for a date. Would love to come back and spend some more time here.

I had the eggs Benedict with duck, which was savory and tender- would get again, even if it was a little small for a $22 meal. I also got a mimosa and a raspberry beret- the beret was delicious and served with the coolest presentation- they used dry ice to create smoke! The decor is very maximalist mid century- love it! Great for a date or if you are impressing someone. Don't let the location scare you off- everything around it looks closed but once you get inside it's absolutely beautiful. I can't end this review without gushing about the staff. I had a weird fainting episode and scared the crap out of my friend- our server and the rest of the staff were on it, so sweet and helpful. A Wednesday 430pm - wasn't crowded. My husband told them it was my birthday before we arrived so they made me an ube martini. Purple and fantastic! We also ordered appetizers of the burrata and the sweet potato croquette. Burrata is always fantastic! The croquettes were good. They were doing Star Wars themed drinks for May the 4th so Star Wars was playing in a screen (that you could barely see due to the sun). Lincolns absolutely delivers on the speakeasy vibe - from trying to find the door, to figuring out how to actually get inside (LOL), to settling in with drinks once you're finally through. It makes the whole experience feel interactive and memorable. **Tip: it actually isn't too hard to find. I won't completely spoil it for people who want the fun of the hunt, but I'll leave a few hints at the bottom. The drink special that night - their version of an Old Fashioned - was excellent and absolutely worth ordering. The other cocktails are liquor + mixer with the soda or bar gun. We tried a local gin (can't remember the name) & soda and a Four Roses Bourbon & Pepsi. There was a odd flavor that came with that round and tasted watered down. Stick with the special. So good! I'd go back all day for the special alone. The staff was a little bit of an outlier compared to the rest of the experience. Everyone was nice, but they didn't seem especially engaged, and the attire didn't really match the speakeasy atmosphere. That said, the space itself is large and immersive enough that once we had our drinks, we just leaned into the whole experience and had a great time. HINTS: 1. Go to the address listed... duh. 2. Something is COOKING through the glass. 3. Find the stairs down. 4. If you hear music and see some impressive doors, figure out how to LIFT the handle to get inside.

Atmosphere: The theme here is so cool! It's all about Abraham Lincoln but with a modern, artistic twist. There's really neat artwork everywhere showing different looks of Lincoln. It feels like a true old timey speakeasy. It gets very busy after 8 PM, so be prepared for a bit of a wait, but the energy inside is awesome. Price: This is the most budget-friendly spot I've found in the area. Almost everything is $5! It is CASH ONLY, but don't worry if you forget. They have an ATM inside for you to use. Drink: I ordered the Continental, which is their take on an Old Fashioned with a black cherry. It was delicious and definitely didn't taste like a cheap drink despite the price point. Service: Despite how packed it was, the service was incredibly fast. We got our drinks in maybe 2-3 minutes tops. The staff is efficient and friendly. Overall Experience: Whether you're visiting and staying near Union Station or just looking for a fun local getaway, I highly recommend this place.
