We were driving through this area and looking for something to eat along our route. We stumbled upon Locanda Orelli and couldn't have been more pleased with our find. Locanda Orelli sits in the hills overlooking the Ticino river. We had the most beautiful weather so chose to sit outside. The patio area is set perfectly to enjoy the views. Food here is northern Italian style and everything we ordered was delicious. A couple of things we ordered didn't translate well and even though they weren't quite what we expected, still delicious! The primary language in this region of Switzerland is Italian (but definitely a regional dialect most probably won't be familiar with). Our waitress was friendly and attentive. This was one of the more reasonably priced meals we had while eating out around Switzerland. If you're in the area I definitely recommend stopping in. read more
