This was her first time using a handi transport and we were assured by the owner she would be taken care of. She was not. She was traumatized by the horrible experience. The first driver refused to take her because she did not have cash (they advertise they take cash and debit), the second driver was very late and did not know how to get her down the 3 steps of her home in her wheelchair thus causing her significant pain. She was 1.5 hours late for her appointment which took all of 10 minutes. The driver would not wait so she called for another and after 4 hours, numerous phone calls, crying because she needed to go home to use the bathroom, they told her she would have to find another way home. They literally abandoned a senior with hearing and sight disabilities in a wheel chair!!! Thank goodness for the kindness of strangers as a woman came to her rescue and was able to get her home. However, this kind lady could not wheel my aunt up the stairs in her chair so she had to slide out of it to the ground and with considerable assistance, crawl up the steps to enter her home. Her pain was overwhelming. I have called the owner who has not bothered to call me back. This was a very traumatic experience for a senior yet they still took her money and could not be bothered to even give her an apology. I would NOT RECCOMEND this company. There are others who do much better.
