I requested service to get a new Tesla model S key fob. They sent me a message via Yelp requesting to call me back at their number. I talked to some person named Jessica. I gave her all of my information and she said she would get back to me as she did not know if the request could be possible. Then they sent me a text, asking me specifically for my name, phone number, address, which I just talked to Jessica and had given her. Then I messaged them asking specifically to let me know if they can replace the key fob or not. Eventually a technician called me and said they could not help today and then when I asked him about replacing the key fob for the Tesla model S he said no we can't help with that anyway. Unless you have money burning a hole in your pocket, I would not recommend Locksmith on Wheels. I needed a new deadbolt installed on a front door that didn't currently have one. I had the hardware already. They wouldn't give me an estimate over the phone, but since the reviews were generally good, I decided to call them out. What a mistake. The technician told me it was $150 for a regular installation, $400 for a fresh installation. I understood that to mean it would be $400 for the installation. Even $400 was double the other estimates I'd gotten and well above the high end of estimated costs I'd seen online, but I just wanted to get it done so I went forward with it. The work took under an hour. When he finished, he told me it would be $600. Even though the invoice said "fresh installation" for $400, not "prep work" or anything like that, he told me that was only for creating the holes in the door, and that didn't include installation of the deadbolt. He also added on a $49 service fee I had not been informed of. So all said and done, I was charged $600 for UNDER AN HOUR of labor, no parts involved. It was an absolute ripoff, and when I tried to explain that I had understood a cost of $400, the technician was incredibly rude and wouldn't leave my house without payment of the full $600. read more

The door between our house and garage was very difficult to open. The doorknob is the old style lock and key and had to be replaced and I did not want to have it re-keyed. I called Locksmith on Wheels. I was told the tech who would fix it would call me. He called a few minutes later, we discussed the problem, quoted me $150 and said he would be there in 2 hours. I asked them for their services and is the weirdest thing the way they handle to send you a locksmith. Dispatch calls you first and sound super polite and reliable. Then when the locksmith contacts you is another person. Asked for an estimate and dispatcher said the locksmith needs to see the lock first . Once the locksmith got to my place to help me open my door , he checked the lock and told me 290 for picking or plus 300 with the other method. He wasn't even paying attention to what he was doing and told me infront of my neighbor and my friend that he needed to brake the lock and add a new one with a cost of over 400 dls in total . I was overly exhausted from work and all the crazy day I had after I lost my keys and started feeling weird after another locksmith called me in front of him and he got aggressive and told me to hang up and aggressive also with my neighbor for asking questions . People like this shouldn't be able to provide a service we are the customers and we should be treated with respect and patience .
