So looking at yelp locations for barbers and salons out here and finding one that was open before 9 o'clock was difficult. Guess who found one that was open before nine?! The haircut exceeded my expectations. A sharp looking haircut at just the right length with the right amount of bulk taking out up top. What threw me off is when the stylist brought me up to the shampoo station and gave my head a wonderful shampoo massage. Couldn't be happier finding a place open who can accommodate a man's cut on short notice. Bit pricy but then again this is the first time I received a shampoo too.

My stylist was Giovanna. Honestly, I got the best haircut I think I've ever had in my life. I have mid-length hair that's a dull blonde and tends to be so boring that I tie it back all the time. Giovanna gave me an awesome foil, very natural looking, but dramatic on me! Great long layers. And she was fun to talk to as well. I'm so happy with my cut, I feel like a new person. I've been wearing my hair down since. Yes, it's no Newbury street, but the cut and foil, which I paid $80 before tip (they were running some sort of special), is better than any of the $200 cuts & foils that I got on Newbury street.

It's basically a large square room with about 7 stations and three sinks. Despite the lack of decor, the stylists are all fun and peppy. I started seeing Laura about a year ago and I don't know how I ever lived without her. She's a very young and sweet girl who is more than willing to help you explore different hair styles and colors. While I'm having my hair done Laura, or another stylist, always offers to take my coat and offers a beverage. My favorite part of the whole experience is the head massage during the washing. I always forget how much stress I keep up there. The end product is always wonderful! She has sucha talent for finding the perfect hair color for me. Today I had my hair trimmed, colored, washed and blow dried. While my color was setting, my boyfriend got his hair cut, washed, and Laura even did a relaxing hot towel on his face. All of our services put together cost $90 before tip. If you're looking for a great hair stylist and don't want to dish out the big bucks, give Laura a call!

Twice in the last few months the person who was doing my hair cancelled the morning of. I completely understand life happens - people get sick, emergencies arise, but when it happens twice in a row, the salon should do something more then send a generic text and then ignore their customers. After my replies to said text were not answered, I had to take it upon myself to call the salon to see if they could get me in another time. I made this appointment FIVE WEEKS in advance and needed my hair done for an event over the weekend. The woman on the phone was not very nice. When I expressed I was disappointed because this is the second time in a row this happened, she just said "we can't have people work when they're sick..." she completely missed the point. If I get cancelled on last minute, twice in a row, and you can't accommodate a new reservation, give your customer a discount or a free hair product. Not an attitude. Especially when the salon would have gladly charge me in FULL if I was the one to cancel last minute. Thankfully, I was able to find a place in the area that took me last minute so I will be paying them from now on. There are plenty of other places, who charge better, and care about their customers, so tread carefully with this place.

The owner is a compassionate woman who helped me deal with hair loss from chemotherapy (kindly shaved my head for me) and gave me tips to keep my bald head happy. I'm looking forward to going back now that my hair has regrown. It may not have all the amenities that you may desire, but what they do have are excellent hair cuts and color and extremely reasonable prices. The staff is personable and recommend using this one.

I received a "we haven't seen you in a while email" and realized my stylist forgot to book me! I called Saturday morning 5/12 for an emergency appointment with ANYONE. It is now 5/16 and I have not heard a word from the salon nor my stylist. Horrible customer service with a complete lack of urgency. I will not return nor recommend.

He has been cutting my hair now for awhile.... and at the same time being an X hairstylist, I was coloring my own hair ! I decided that it was time for Erik to Fix my color.
