Despite multiple visits for measurements, the main door arrived with the wrong opening range direction, and one of the largest windows was installed two months after the first installation. A truck with a 12-foot container of 20 windows arrived on Friday to offload when the installation was planned for Monday, but there was no space to store the materials, and they had to be held. I could not get a clear idea of the status of the non-received materials until two months after the installation, preventing from scheduling the final inspection, and that resulted into a violation notice by the community. On-site project management: 4.5/5 The execution went smoothly, with nearly 20 windows and doors replaced within three days. The workers made efforts to cover everything surrounding the area to protect from dust, although major cleaning was still necessary afterward. At least one person could speak English and communicate efficiently, and the on-site workers were polite and respectful. Product quality: 4/5 The materials come from Colombia, and so far, there have been no concerns. However, the latches have an uncommon arrangement, especially the casement window type, which is difficult to open. Customer service: 2.5/5 While I was able to reach customer service easily every time I called, I did not receive specific answers about the back orders for several weeks. When I asked to escalate the issue to the managers, I did not receive an immediate response or follow-up until days after the request. The initial experience with this company until making me sign the contract was very impressive and convincing. The online reviews except for 4 or 5 bad reviews were mostly impressive too, because of which I decided to go with this company for insulation of my impact doors and windows. But based on my experience I now strongly believe that the 4 or 5 bad reviews were the only real ones and the rest were fake and made up by their own people. I really regret my decision of selecting this company and realize that this was one of the biggest mistakes of my life. When I went to the city to file a complaint they told me that they are receiving multiple similar complaints about "Lock tight". I signed a contract on November 16th 2025 during which Mr. Isidoro Lopez promised me that the work will be completed in 10 to12 weeks & not 180 days as mentioned in the contract. He also told me that the payment will be obtained from my loan company only once the job is completed which was a big lie because they obtained the full payment within a few days of starting the job which forces me to think that this was a trap and a deal between the loan company and Locktight. 100% financing offer is a big scam and a trap. Please don't fall for it. They started working on my house on March 4th 2026, took down all my doors and windows. After doing just the basic door and window insulation they basically abandoned the job. They left my house in a big mess inside and outside. They left the shims around the doors on which made me fail the inspection. Most of the old frames, glasses and other debris were left in my front yard. They did not install the screens for the sliding doors and they left most of the work unfinished. Not only that, when they were installing everything they had promised that all the furniture and the other stuff in the rooms would be covered and protected from dust & dirt, but nothing was done properly. The coverings that they did were just namesake & so the dust was flying all over inside the house which created a big mess throughout my rooms & furniture. They did not do the cleanup or protect the rest of our house from the dust as it was mentioned in the contract. The workers were not skillful at all which is very clear from the quality of the work they have done. There are gaps under my front door and sliding doors big enough for mice and lizards to get inside & the gaps were not sealed properly because of which dirt and dust enters the house and water enters easily when it rains outside. After multiple attempts, one day they sent a guy who came to my house & tried to fix the gaps under the doors and windows using a piece of tape like strips of felt-like material which was of no use in fixing the issue. Because of the poor quality of work the city inspector did not pass the first inspection and one of the reasons was the window installation was not done properly and the window was not "easily egressible", which the inspector explained was important in case of a house fire. Since then I have had no updates from this company nor have they answered my calls. If anyone wants more information or wants to see the so-called "commercial installation" of doors and windows by a company who claims to be the best in this business, PLEASE FEEL FREE TO TEXT ME AT 305 342-5531. I also have a great concern on how this company will be dealing with a customer if one has to use their 15 year warranty that they offer on their products and work. It has been almost 200 days now that they have started working on my house & left my house in such a big mess and never bothered to show any interest or initiative in completing the job. I now know that they were interested only in getting my money and once they obtained the full payment they now have no incentive in completing the job anymore. Not even a one star. I was away and saw on my security camera a man taking a video of my window! He was on foot and I saw no car or truck. Then another man inside my enclosed front porch seemed like he tried my door, and I heard him on the cell phone saying this whole area needs to be impacted talking about my home! I was very upset because I have a NO SOLICTING NO EXCUSES sign by my front door that you can't miss. They still left one of those annoying door banger advertisements on my door handle which I don't want when I am not even home. The person's name on the ad they left is Izaiah. I just tried to call them before I call the police and show them these videos but of course you can't even get the person in charge to speak to, all you get is a call center overseas. We had nothing but problems with this company. As you can see from everyone else's reviews, so did they.. I wish I had come to this site before I engaged with this company. It's no one that they have to do so much advertising to get new clients because they can't be getting referrals. This company has yet to complete my project saying that they had to order parts from Columbia and that it would take six weeks. That was in the beginning of January. When I called to follow up, I get ghosted. They scratched the glass on one of my patio doors and told me that if the installers didn't document it then it's not their problem, insinuating that I did it. They left screws showing on the top of the double hung windows and told me that that's the way it's supposed to be. Locktight did a complete window and door replacement for approximately $50,000. One of the sliding doors they installed had the wrong door that activated. They never asked us what door should slide but looking at our floor layout it should have been easy to decide. after installation we asked them to change the active door or make both active. My experience with Locktight Impact Windows, Doors & Roofing has been extremely frustrating. I was told my impact windows would be installed within 6-8 weeks after signing the contract in October 2025. Installation did not begin until January 29, 2026, and I only learned about delays after repeatedly contacting the company myself. The project still has unresolved issues including missing window caps, missing trim ("mustache") on the sliding doors, poor stucco patching where shutters were removed, interior wall damage, and improper caulking that is allowing insects to enter. I was pressured to pay the full balance the day the windows were installed even though the job had not passed inspection and several items were unfinished. Since payment, getting the company to return and complete the work has been extremely difficult. Most recently, technicians arrived about two hours late for a scheduled service visit and then said they could not complete much of the work because they did not have the necessary materials, meaning the repairs must be rescheduled again. This was the worst contracting experience of my life. My sales person, who claimed to be the owners brother, misled me into believing that I was hiring a professional company who's large size gave them an advantage over their competition. He lied. I had two French doors and a window installed. The arrangement was to use my existing hardware in the new doors. When the first crew arrived, they were like two clown cars in beat up pick up trucks. Not the professional vans the salesperson had touted. Not one person that showed up spoke English. Which I wouldn't have cared about except there were problems and it was difficult to communicate through google translate. The representative who came to me, advised that when they removed my deadbolt from the rear door, they broke it. They then advised that I would have to buy a new one. Once they finished installing my hardware, there was another door handle missing that they couldn't find. They advised I'd have to buy another one of those too. The doors they installed had 4 holes. My previous doors only had three, which now required me to buy two fake deadbolts. After they left for the day, I checked on the equipment and they had installed my electronic deadbolt on my front door, and it no longer worked. I looked outside and there was trash all over my front yard, in the grass and in the bushes. They came back the next morning, I thought to clean up, but the collected casters they had left and they left all the trash. The next day I called and left a message for my project manager. He called back and I advised him that I had some concerns and listed them for him. He said he could call me back with answers for each of my concerns. He never called me back. Ever. I left several messages with no response. I was then contacted by their quality control person who is the only person who ever called me back, though he refused to take responsibility for the damage their people had caused. He gave the final answer that I would have to buy the replacement locks and handles. So, I did. Only to find that when their crew installed the electronic lock, they drilled a whole through my door, which was now exposed with the new lock I had bought. When the project was finally done, 7 months later!! I am left with a damaged door and $500 extra expense. I do not recommend this company. This business is engaging in a pattern and practice of visiting my home unsolicited once a month and knocking on my door to tell me they are "doing work in the neighborhood" and apologize for the noise which is entirely false, this is a sales gimmick. On 3/7, I told the rep to never visit my home again because it would be considering trespassing and I would call the cops. The rep would NOT confirm to me that he would never return for an unwanted visit. I have called the company 3x and asked for a manager, who refuses to call me back. I recently had 13 impact windows and 2 doors installed. The salesman after the final sale would no longer respond to my messages or calls. I made the mistake of paying off the windows before the work was fully inspected and correct. It turns out that one of the windows was installed improperly. I have spoken to several personal in customer service and each time they stated someone will get back to me. it's been 3 months since this issue has been reported and still it has not been rectified. Recently a project manager guaranteed me that he would come do the work on a certain date but he reneged on the date and stated that he never guaranteed the date. This is the worst company I have ever encountered. It took them six months to complete our roof. Their customer service is terrible. They failed to obtain the necessary permits and left all my documents out in the rain, causing them to get wet. They also forgot to leave the documents for the city to review. They promised to provide drone photos and more, but I ended up taking photos myself, and I am very disappointed with how the roof looks. Furthermore, they pressured me for the final payment and even sent legal papers. To top it off, they were suing our HOA for $100,000. Why would I make a final payment without knowing how my roof turned out? Now that I see how horrible it looks, I regret ever choosing this company. My experience with LockTight seems to be consistent with what others have experienced. This is a terrible business to deal with. I paid these guys over $30,000 for my impact window project. They were sloppy, made a mess, and after they got their money, they refused to honor their commitments. This was one of the biggest mistakes ever. - To begin, they promised the windows would be ready to install within 7-10 weeks, but it took over 4 months. They waited two weeks to submit the HOA package for approval (it was approved in one day), and then waited another 4 weeks before ordering the windows from the manufacturer. No explanation for the delay. - They stacked my new windows on my lawn and left them there for over a week. Because of the rain, they got muddy and dirty. - When they sent the installers, none of them spoke English, or at least they claimed they couldn't speak English. It was impossible to communicate with them. Of course, they didn't even clean the mud off before they put the windows in. - They installed half the windows, then apparently one of their crew members called in sick, and the project stopped for several days until they found other installers. - The installation was a headache. Several windows were crooked and had to be realigned. They piled the garbage and broken window parts on the lawn, with broken glass everywhere. It took them days to collect the garbage and the scaffolding they left on my lawn, which they never used. - The new French doors were not aligned and wouldn't close properly. I literally could not lock my front door for several days. After more than a week they finally sent someone to align the doors and install the door handles. - The company wouldn't schedule the city inspections until all the money was paid in full. After I paid, it took weeks before they scheduled the inspections, not because the city inspectors were unavailable, but because LockTight was unavailable to come to my house for the inspection (both the city inspector and the installer have to be present). - During the installation, the installers dropped cement, glue, and caulk on my pavers. They left the windows with their marketing stickers on them, and the glue from the stickers wouldn't come off. I kept calling them to come clean up. They said they would send someone after the final inspection. Several weeks after inspection and several phone calls later, they still didn't send anyone. Finally, they sent a kid over to clean the windows. He showed up with a can of Windex and only one rag to clean 22 windows. The windows were smeared and looked worse after he was done with the one dirty rag then before he started. They never cleaned the cement and caulk they dropped on my pavers. - During the installation, they damaged the wiring to one of my window security sensors inside the wall (the sensors were removed in advance). They refused to fix or pay for repairs, claiming sensors were to be removed in advance, which they were. The damage is inside the wall, where they drilled. Heed this warning.. AVOID LOCKTIGHT. They were not the cheapest, nor the most expensive; they were in the middle. But if you want to spare yourself a nightmare, find a better installer. I signed a contract with Tightlock in September 2024, and the experience has been nothing short of a complete disappointment. My windows were not installed until the beginning of May 2025, and even now the job is still not finished and the final inspection has not been passed. At this point, I only want to be done with them, pay, and never hear from them again -- but they will not let that happen. I don't know if it's out of spite or sheer incompetence, but one would imagine that a company would want to finish the job in order to get paid. Unfortunately, Tightlock seems incapable of doing so. To make matters worse, they filed a lien against my property because I refused to pay them the full amount before completion -- something no reasonable customer should do, given the delays and incompetence. I have never even received an invoice or proper communication regarding payment, which makes their actions even more unacceptable. When they did get installed, the installation process was terrible. We were told it would take 2-3 days for installation and it took 12 hours. We couldn't get a hold of the project manager because the installers were rushing to get it done and we actually needed them to leave but since they did not speak English we couldn't communicate with them. It was done so poorly that now 3 months after installation and plenty of phone calls later, our doors are leaking, we are still getting lizards in the house, they do not protect from the heat like they said they would, the front door was installed at an angle, the magnetic piece was not installed in the door like we had in our contract and to top it all off the finish work was done so terribly that even the calking job is cracking and coming apart. Customer service is absolutely terrible because everyone says they will call us back and have someone come to fix these issues but we are still 3 months out from installation and we are still waiting for our issues to be fixed. Had Locktight install 9 windows and French doors with impact glass. While removing existing windows, they took a hammer to most window glass which left glass shards around the property. They installed a broken impact window, left without advising next steps for project or replacement plans for the broken window. Then the finance team harassed me for payment, again without advising of continued installation plan. Told me they would cancel the inspection (they can't pass inspection if window isn't whole) and he would stop the order request of replacement window and put a lien on my house. They do have a statement in their contract that funding is due in final day of install even if all windows are broken. And will call, email and text you all day until you pay. This was after the sales team attempted to require me to get 2 more expensive egress windows. Because my windows are same type replacement windows, egress are not required, per PBC Building Code. I should have canceled the project when I called after 5 weeks and found they hadn't ordered my windows yet. Signed contract April 4th. Checked in May 7th to ask of status, which kicked off a review of windows and what I suspect final window order because it was at this time I was told I would have to order egress windows (I refused in April when placing the order and they added a note to my order), and after pushing back in May, had to sign an addendum saying I accept responsibility for any failed inspection due to lack of egress windows. Windows were ordered then and install started July 28th. Overall will not recommend vendor, due to bullying by finance, pressuring by sales team and carelessness of install team. The only good thing, is the windows are tinted and my house is cooler. So far the product appears well made. Will update when inspection is completed to confirm and other issues. read more

When I initially reached out to inquire about this company's roofing services, their team responded promptly and collected my information. Shortly afterward, I was contacted their Scheduling Coordinator to confirm the details. However, I was told that an appointment could only be scheduled if both my wife and I were present. I explained that this would not be possible, but the coordinator insisted and ultimately declined to schedule the appointment unless we both were available. I found this policy unreasonable and decided not to move forward. Since then, I have hired another company to complete the re-roofing of my home. Despite informing your them of this, I continue to receive calls from their company. Please consider this a final request to stop contacting me and to remove my information from your records. I can only judge by the other unfavorable reviews that I made the right decision in not hiring this company. read more

We got a very good deal with Lock Tight. They worked with our budget to help us get impact windows in our townhouse. It did take a while from the initial contract agreement to get the windows installed. But this was partially due to needing HOA and city permit approval. I think it was worth the time and money. Our house definitely feels more modern and open. They covered our furniture and floors. Cleaned up after themselves. Removed the old shutters we had. Shoutout to the younger couple that installed them. They worked so hard I unfortunately didn't get their names. Thank you so much again read more

They came into our neighborhood which is private property and has signs at the entrance saying no soliciting and no trespassing. They then proceeded to door knock and harass the residents of the neighborhood in an attempt to sell roofs. They then used the same BS line that they are doing our neighbors roof. read more

I actually had my windows installed 2 years ago. I don't like to leave bad reviews but after 2 years and I'm still finding faults. From the beginning to the end horrible experience. I tried to cancel but wasn't able to. I should have lost the deposit but I decided to go on with the process. I was told the windows that were ordered were wrong size. Then it was excuse after excuse. I didn't speak to anyone from this company that made me feel comfortable. And now after 2 years I have a leak. I didn't contact them because fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me. They also removed my accordion shutters from one of my windows and reinstalled them wrong. I do not want anyone to go through the horrible experience that I have. Read reviews and do your homework before going with any company. I'm not sure how they are still in business. I would not and do not recommend them to anyone. read more

With all the major renovations in my house, including kitchen, flooring bathroom I did not have much problems and stress. Doing this impact windows and doors with Locktight was a mistake, a very big mistake. Initially, they will pressure you to sign a contract telling you all the discounts. Sounds great! You have to give them 50% in the beginning and then they said they will order the parts once your HOA clears and gets approved. Took them two months after HOA approval to order my windows indoors so that's already delayed. I called them and they're gonna keep saying it's been ordered. It's on its way and it's coming from Colombia. So it's gonna take another month to two after the manufacturer receive the order. Will take a few weeks to get in the US and maybe another week or two to schedule that. Upon initial installation, you have to pay them the 40% of your contract. Installation gets done, but not complete since they cannot close out all the casings inside your house due to city inspections. However, since the installation of everything is not complete you need to pay them the rest which is 10% after the initial installation, even though the trims caulking, stucco some replacements that needs to be corrected has not been completed. This is with all Locktight contracts, so be careful as they won't tell you this on the initial signing of your contract. My wife and I didn't have a choice. We just want the project to be done so we can move on and be stress-free. All the debris that they left will be picked up however, you're gonna have some other debris that's gonna be left. The main thing for me are the broken window glass that will be all over where they dump all the old windows. They won't clean it as they said it's normal for a construction site to have some debris.. imagine they all got paid hundred percent already and the project is not completely done. If there's some problems erased later you will be screwed since you already paid them in full amount. They're just gonna keep saying it will be scheduled with service department. Overall, I am very dissatisfied with this company. You can check business bureau. A lot of complaints and you can check their website that has good reviews however there's nothing in year 2025 and they're all BS reviews. I would go totally with a different company. read more

I do not recommend Locktight impact windows doors and roofing. After I complained because the workers chipped two of my brand new porcelain tiles while installing two of my glass doors, I was yelled at by Jamie, one of the managers, that it's ok that the tiles got chipped and that they would fix it at punch up. She threatened that if I did not let the workers continue the job, then she would put a lien on my apartment. One window that was installed makes a strident noise when I close it. I got stained glass and ugly caulk finishing. I got very, very damaged marble in front of two sliding doors. Only at the very end she sent two good workers to do my front doors and two other workers finished the job. I was told to talk to Matthew. He listened to me and asked for pictures. I sent the pictures to him. Then he ignored all my text and voice messages. The punch up worker told me that if the window was opening and closing nobody would come here to fix it, that it's all in the fine print and they have lawyers. I will have to live with it. read more
