Love this place. Stopped by again for a flight of ciders and found we came in the Happy Hour timeframe. Bonus! The staff here are so friendly and helpful and there's always some new yummy flavors available on tap. This time they had some unique blended ciders with coffee or other items available. I tried one in my flight named "Al Paccino" which was spicy. Not my fave. We tried other flavors as well including Spiced Plum, Maple, and Strawberry Mojito. These were all tasty so we ended up buying a grunt fill with the Strawberry Mojito. I can't wait for warm weather so we can enjoy these delicious beverages outside! Thank you Locust Cider for the consistent service and variety of new flavors along with the staples. Way to go!

This is my favorite cider spot and so delicious! Locust Cider has a decent parking lot out front and indoor/outdoor seating. They have so many different ciders on the menu to try, and the staff is very friendly to let you try samples or give recommendations! The space is fun, has some games to play, and lots of natural light. There are some basic food options, like pizzas and soft pretzels. My favorite ciders are the POG (it's seasonal!) and blackberry flavors. I recommend getting a cider flight to try different options before committing to a pint. They have happy hour from 4-6 pm, with deals on flights and pints!

Locust makes some of the best cider I've had, and I've drank cider across the world! The cider mostly sticks to basic flavors like apples, lemonade, dark cherry, and others, but the more complex flavors like mango lemonade and strawberry mojito really shine. Get a flight of 4, 5, or 6 for the best experience to try flavors. Check their happy hour when the cost of six tasters becomes the price of four, because otherwise price is really a killer. However, you get what you pay for here! Parking is free in a dedicated lot, and there is free wifi.

My husband and I swung into Locust cider last night after I had previously attended a Yelp event here. We each got a flight of ciders to try and then had so much fun playing Nintendo while we drank them! McKenna was our pourer and she was so nice and friendly! She gave us a rundown of the ciders and answered all of our questions. She had a great understanding of the ciders, it's always nice to have a great personality representing the company! The tasting room itself was decorated really cute and had a total relaxing vibe to it. I would 10/10 recommend as a fun date night or friends night out!

I am a big cider fan. And I love Locust's variety! Friend and I visited Locust during the Elite event, and it was an amazing tasting experience. Tried a few kinds, and my favorite is Chai, their seasonal one. Very different from what I had tasted in the cider group, but it was amazing! I will return to try out more...

We came here for a Yelp event and purchased as flight to share. This place is fun and has a great selection of Ciders. I really liked the chai and spicy ciders. There are games to play and merch to buy. Food for purchase as well. Def stop by for a taste.

We came here with a couple of friends who haven't tried here before and they thought it was good. We got 2 flights of cider with so we can sample 8 different drinks. Some of the cider was better than others as they have more distinct flavors while others tasted the same as others. It was a good mix though. The fan favorite was definitely the cold pressed. Service is good, as the guy was really nice. Their Internet was down so it was cash only but it wasn't bad. They also have a food truck on site which is nice as well as their own food options. Overall, nice place to come and try ciders.

This is my new go to cider spot! They have such creative flavors, the vanilla bean being my favorite. The space is super cool, with a Pac-Man table and a ton of board games, plus they are dog friendly and have a lovely patio. The staff was all really cool too and cared a ton about their ciders. Proceeds go to charity as well, so there is a really strong sense of camaraderie and community.

Service was definitely above par! Tatum (sp?) is amazing and made me feel welcome immediately. There are tons of games to play and even a giant sized "connect four." So much deliciousness, so much sweetness and so much fun! Highly recommended whether to bring friends from out of town or to check in with friends to connect again over games and yummy cider. There is even beer for people who aren't big fans of cider. I prefer the IPA myself, but I genuinely appreciated everything I tasted! Check it out and enjoy!!

I have to start by admitting I'm not a big cider person. I often find them too sweet or too dry and don't often try to drink a pint. That is why I'm surprised and thrilled to say I thoroughly enjoyed a full flight and loved all their flavors at Locust! Their cider on tap is delicious and sits right in the middle of not too dry and not too sweet, which I really prefer. Their honey pear flavor is my favorite! The plain cider was even nice too. I suggest trying a flight so you can choose - they are all great. They also have fun special events like trivia and this yogurt and cider pairing.

A nice place to meet with friends and have some cider also with flat breads . A good and cool atmosphere to relax with friends in Friday evening , they have indoor and outdoor seating. Their cucumber flavor cider is refreshing but I felt they need to be more carbonated instead of just plan drink. They have lot of board games to play along with your friends . All staff were friendly and ready to answer your questions . They do take party booking if you are planning for some. Plenty of parking space though.

The Grunt of Vanilla Bean Hard Cider that I purchased yesterday

My Best Friend / Brother, Ryan, and I went in to Locust Cider yesterday afternoon around 4pm or so, after a peaceful long walk through Woodin Creek Park and then on the Sammamish River Trail. We were welcomed by a smiley employee with dark hair and glasses as soon as we walked in. She was a sweetheart. I was hoping to buy one small-ish container of the Watermelon (seasonal) Hard Cider, one small-ish container of the Imperial Oak-Aged Vanilla Bean Hard Cider, one Santa Fe Bean and Quinoa Bowl, and whatever Ryan wanted. Unfortunately they were out of both the Imperial Oak-Aged Vanilla Bean Cider AND the Santa Fe Bean and Quinoa Bowl late yesterday afternoon. There was a bit of a miscommunication between the nice employee and myself, because I'd been willing to go ahead and buy the small-ish container of the Watermelon Hard Cider, and that is what I thought I was asking to do. However, she handed me a very small sample tasting glass of the Watermelon Hard Cider. This miscommunication ended up to be a good thing, because I asked for the (non-Imperial, non-Oak-aged) Vanilla Bean Hard Cider, and she gave me a very small sample tasting glass of that, too (again, I thought I'd simply buy a container of it as well). Both Hard Ciders were very delicious, but I liked the Vanilla Bean Hard Cider so much more than the Watermelon that I ended up buying a Grunt of just the Vanilla Bean Cider. So it was actually quite helpful to have tried the samples first. Ryan asked if they had a non-alcoholic Cider, and they do. I bought a glass of that for him. I am not sure what flavor it is, but Ryan poured a bit of it into one of my sample tasting glasses, and I thought that it tasted a little bit like Martinelli's Sparkling Apple Cider, except that it was much more flavorful. I do not drink much, or often, and I was pleasantly surprised that I liked the non-alcoholic Cider just as much as I liked the Vanilla Bean Hard Cider. I would not have even thought to ask if there was a non-alcoholic Cider available for purchase. I would definitely go back to Locust Cider just for their non-alcoholic Cider. I was a bit disappointed that they were out of the Santa Fe Bean and Quinoa Bowl on the afternoon that we visited, because I hadn't had lunch yesterday, and I was hungry. I asked what other options they had for food, but there were mostly pizzas, without gluten-free options. No worries, Ryan and I drove over to Vivi Pizzeria after that and picked up a delicious Gluten-Free pizza. We probably would've stayed at Locust Cider much longer if they had food available that I could've eaten. I was too hungry to stay there long. Ryan and I did not even finish our game of Scrabble. The ambience felt relaxing, though, so I would probably stay much longer in the future if they have their Santa Fe Bean and Quinoa bowl available next time. It's fun that they have such a variety of Board Games to choose from.

    Laura G.

Really good ciders. Been here several times. We love to hang out and play board games and video games. Super dog friendly which is a huge plus for us. Friendly staff. The downside is often there's literally one person working. I feel bad because they never stop going and going and going. Then if you have a lot of people ordering tasting flights and food, sadly service comes to an almost grinding halt. Other than that, we do like this place.

Can i please have some info about reservations? I asked in the pub today and learned that they ask for a $100 deposit to hold a table... But i didn't ask if this was for any sized group or just over a certain size.

Our destination was the Route 2 Taproom, as it sounded interesting, and we've never been. We arrived, and it was what we were expecting, a very nice indoor seating area with quite a few tables, and a very nice outdoor patio. We chose the patio, which had a self service walk up bar. Just made it convenient and you didn't have to wait for someone to come to your table. My wife chose the fish and chips, which you'll see in the photo were very abundant, and cooked very nicely with a modest amount of fries, in my opinion, I would've liked more. The flavor was really good. I chose the chicken wings, which I was told I could pick multiple flavors, I chose the sweet chili, and the lemon pepper. Really like the sweet chili, the lemon pepper... well, was much too lemony. The beer selection here was quite extensive, we chose one of the lighter session IPAs, which was quite good. Overall, the staff was very friendly, engaging, and did a great job of taking care of everybody while we were there. I will definitely go back when I'm in the neighborhood. Thank you
