15 minutes minimum but best if you go 45 minutes to an hour so you can really soften your skin

Yes they are, they welcome everyone. If it's your first time there just let them know and they'll give you instructions.

I lucked out and found parking right across the street. As you walk down the ramp you see a nice lawn, 2 story large house and the barrel. I happen to go on the day that the run club meets later that evening so there was an ice bath in front. We are welcomed with a warm smile and the host answers all of our questions on all of their services: sauna, cold plunge, red light therapy and IV drip. He handed us towels and escorted us to our section. We opt and go for the contrast therapy. I wasn't sure what to expect since this is my first time but the combination of heat in the sauna and cold in the ice bath is a game-changer. He recommended that we do the sauna for 15-25 minutes then 3+ minutes in the ice bath. Our section is a beautiful oasis. As you walk through the gate there are black stones and plants that create a serene area. The sauna is in a shape of a barrel designed with natural wood and glass doors that add a modern touch. There is a shower that we used to rinse between going to the sauna and the ice bath. We got 45 minutes that I felt was enough time to do both twice. The sauna was relaxing and the cold plunge a shocking but exhilarating experience. I could feel my circulation improve and a decrease in inflammation. I highly recommend this place! I left feeling refreshed.

I didn't have a hair tie, so I asked if they had one. What made this strange is that everyone else in the spa had their hair down, and I was planning to shower anyway with shampoo and conditioner. It felt like I was being singled out. As someone with curly hair, it made me feel targeted and uncomfortable, especially since no one else was asked the same thing. She also made a comment about keeping the sauna clean, which honestly made no sense. I had just arrived and had done nothing that would make it dirty. The comment felt unnecessary and insulting. For context, I had just gotten off a 5 1/2 hour flight and couldn't check into my Airbnb yet, so I came here just to shower and kill time. Instead of feeling relaxed and welcomed, I felt judged and uncomfortable the entire time. Overall, this was not a good experience. If you're looking for a spa that's welcoming and respectful, I'd suggest going somewhere else. I personally would not return.

It's like Uilani thought of every little thing to help you relax beyond the massage itself. The massage cot can be adjusted to a seated position, which is how my massage ended. It's like they're easing you back into being vertical again. The experience continues: You go back to the lounge where you sip iced tea and eat a small crunchy snack before you leisurely make your way back to the locker room for a hot shower. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, towels, a blow dryer, Q-tips... all provided for you. You're not rushed to pay and get out. This place is about 50% more than another place where i had a one year membership, but all the little touches they use to enhance your relaxation and enjoyment make the experience so relaxing. You didn't just get a massage, you got a full relaxing experience.

The massage room itself was beautiful, with a big bathtub for a coconut bath after the treatment and its own bathroom. The amenities were great too: snacks, drinks, fruits, a dry sauna, steam sauna, and a waiting lounge overlooking the ocean with lay-down chairs. The lounge wasn't busy at all, and you could easily spend an hour there relaxing. Booking was easy via email and the staff was very responsive. Valet parking is included. What could've been better: The jacuzzi was out of order during our visit, and I wasn't informed ahead of time. I had to ask for a prorated rate, and the person checking us out initially didn't want to give the discount until their manager stepped in. For a big hotel-affiliated spa, I expected better communication and consistency on something like this. The showers also ran out of bath products (either shampoo or body wash), and the locker area was missing some amenities I'd expect at this price point, like makeup remover and skincare beyond generic body lotion. I also had trouble getting a receipt with my name on it initially, though they eventually sent one. One other thing to note: the spa is right above the hotel beach and pool area, so you can hear people rather than just ocean waves or spa music. It didn't bother me too much, but it's something to be aware of if you're expecting total tranquility. Despite these issues, it was still a wonderful experience and I'd recommend it for a special occasion!
