It takes hours to air dry and then some. Went to Ricardo at Mariella space for a wash and dry. What a great idea. they use amazing products and know exactly how to treat curly hair. Ricardo washed it , did some magic with Davines products, dried the roots and then with his hands and a great dryer had it dry and perfect in less than a half hour. He has changed my life. I followed his advice on my return and the results were perfect. I did not get a haircut there, but saw one done by Mariella and it was an excellent cut. I now have an extra day added to my week. I was visiting my fiancee now husband in Milan and was in need of a trim. I walked in Thursday and requested an appointment. They fit me in the next day! Then when I told them what I wanted they booked me with their head stylist visiting from the salon in Rome. I asked for a deep conditioning treatment and they washed my hair the way I like it! That was the longest part of the process the blowout and cut were done in 45 mins. Wow, I was so scared of how it would come out and then to find my hair looked so beautiful. Also, my blowout lasted for days, almost a week. I am definitely getting my hair done here when I come back. They really are professional and work like a team here. I also had a Manicure and Pedicure here and was happy with that, however it is not like when you have your nails done here in the states. I think I was her only client so she really took her time. Almost 2 1/2 hours. But she was really friendly to me and tolerated my terribly spoken Italian and my ok spanish.

I had been thinking about getting my hair cut short and was thrilled when they said I could come back in a few hours and that the artistic director would cut it! I went in and had a nice wash and then Dominic, I believe, asked what I wanted. Mostly I told him what I didn't want. He listened carefully and then commenced the best haircut I have ever had. It looks great! I have had many unsolicited compliments, and it is so very easy to style. My only concern now is finding someone here in the states to cut it as well. It was a great experience. I walked around the area a couple times before I was able to finally find the spa. Sometimes they have maintenance they need to do so they will be closed temporarily, but the staff are friendly and speak some English. Neat place with fish tanks that you can dip your hands and feet in for the fish to give you a fish therapy manicure and pedicure. Overall, come here if you are going to the nearby, fun Eataly gourmet market/cafeteria. The spa is a bit difficult to find, but you should be able to find it after wandering around a bit or maybe you would just have a good map!
