Logo Embroideries is a great little business located in the busy Royal Arcade. Despite being a really small outlet they pack an awful lot into the space available. There's a reasonable sized range of samples on display including; screen printed/ laser printed / embroidered and personalised tee shirts, polo shirts, sweatshirts and hoddies, rugby shirts, as well as club and corporate wear. With such a small central retail location it isn't feasible to process customized orders here (this can either be prints or embroidery originating from your own artwork or from the huge range of stock designs). Instead this takes place at their factory shop is in the heart of the Welsh valleys. I much prefer the idea of rendering artwork on clothes rather than on human skin. This is a great way of wearing your own designs without having to maim yourself, and it costs a lot less too! It's £10.00 for a personalized design to be rendered on your clothes. God, I haven't been to one of these places since 1997, when I had to embroider "Jen" in yellow stitching on the back of my cheerleading bloomers. Printing on everything from sweatshirts and fleeces to Hi Viz jackets and baseball caps, Logo is your one-stop shop for all your embroidery needs, even offering customers the opportunity to produce your own designs onto mugs or any item of your own. One day whilst I was walking around Cardiff and taking pictures, I stumbled across this wonderful, eye catching Logo embroidery shop. With all of the beautiful colours and things going on inside this shop and its shop window, so is there really any wonder as to why this logo shop attracted my eyes attention? It was busy too, so it must be have good service and that any of the expense that you pay should be worth it, I'd say so. I'd love to learn how to make such items of craft. It is unique shop that I find stands out from the crowd and to me it seems like rather an odd shop to have placed within the Royal Arcade in Cardiff's city centre. For this shop looks like it should be in a SCi-Fi movie not within a Victorian shopping arcade. The staff who works there are pleasant enough and they are helpful. So if you desire somewhere new to shop from and to buy some new type of presents for friends and family then this is the shop for you. I first went inside Logo embroideries when I was passing the shop on Royal Arcade and had recently visited the Banksy Exhibit at Bristol Museum. Logo had numerous Banksy designs hanging in their window on t-shirts which caught my eye so I decided to go in and take a look. I was told that they could print any Banksy design within one hour but that they had none available ready to buy there and then. I would say that this is the only downfall of this store. Don't get me wrong, one hour is excellent but I'm very much a here and now kind of guy in so many ways so when I'm in a hurry and I see something I want in a shop window I want to be able to go in and buy it at the time. Also, I didn't have a spare hour that day. Anyways, I ordered a t-shirt from here on Friday and this was a specific design which they had not had requested before. So when I ordered it I was informed I would have to wait a little bit longer for the design to be printed. I went in today (Saturday) and it was there ready and waiting. A lot of the t-shirt printing stores advise you not to request white printing on black shirts as it doesn't come out as good as balk on white. This is because to print white on black you need to follow a screen printing method and I was highly impressed that this shop did not even mention it.
