Probably one of the best gelato places in the GTA ! This place in Etobicoke is about a 40 min bike ride from downtown, which is lovely in the summer! Lola's is really close to the water which gives the perfect spot for you to eat the delicious gelato. The gelato itself is so creamy and smooth, with classic flavors! The best one by far is the pistachio gelato - highly recommend! read more

Thanks for serving us! We had a great time. I got for myself a triple scoop of maple walnut, sassy sea turtle, and Ferrero Rocher; all of which had that delectable nutty flavour. The way the gelato melts in your mouth is very satisfying. The price for three scoops was very reasonable when it comes to gelato. We sat down to eat. It's not that big inside, so we didn't want to hog the tables for too long. I think there's patio seating if it isn't raining. Big recommend! read more

Went for a walk at Humber Bay on a hot day and looked up ice cream places nearby on Yelp. Lola's instantly stood out due to its high reviews! When we got there we saw a huge line and knew it must be good. Although the line is long it moves pretty quickly. The gelato is really good and definitely one of the better ones in Toronto! This is a small store, with nowhere to sit inside, but the wait in the typical line-up to be served is worth it. It's not the most obvious of places to find, almost hidden in the ground floor of one of the many condo podiums in this stretch of Humber Bay. This is my favourite place in Etobicoke. It's right by the water, the gelato is amazing, the staff are friendly & patient. I've been here three times now, and I have gotten the lemon, pistachio, hazelnut, and chocolate. All super delicious, seriously! The lemon was strong and refreshing, hazelnut and chocolate were rich and just sweet enough. My favourite is the pistachio, the best gelato I've had in the city. It's subtly sweet, tastes like pistachios and is so creamy yet light. Oh man I could have it all day... and it's not as expensive as other gelato/ice cream shops.. two scoops for about $5.60 (tax included). Go visit Lola's Gelato already! Lovely gelato every time. This was not my first time at Lola's but it is my first review. During my last visit, I devoured the peach tea gelato which is dairy free and amazing! As someone who does not eat dairy, gelato is not always available, but Lola's always has three flavours for me to enjoy. The blood orange is one of my favourites. And it is very rare that the artisan who makes the delicacy is also behind the counter (not always but very often) to serve with a smile and tell you about what you are going to indulge in. Go there and experience how tremendously satisfying gelato can be! read more

So everyone claims to serve gelato but few really do. Some serve ice cream and try to pass it off as gelato, not Lola's. They are the real deal with some unreal flavors. I had the peach tea and it was teaaaaalicious!! I usually get the kiddie scoop because that is all I can handle, also, they have such unique flavours here, I need to leave wanting more. I did try the black maple and it was really subtle and nice. To conclude, I'm not going to another gelato place while Lola's is around. read more

Great little store by the water with tons of flavours! I was shocked the first time I got a tub from here, my boyfriend actually brought it home to surprise me and although I don't remember exactly which flavour he got, I do remember that it was a unique one I've never heard in a gelato. This store has great selection when it comes to flavours, and you can always find a unique one when ever you pop in. My favourite flavour is the Ferraro Rocher and the sea salt caramel turtle(?), I think it's called. Whatever the name is, it's definitely worth a try. I've also tried their lemon gelato, and it literally tastes like a smooth cold lemonade, perfectly balanced between tart and sweet. I love coming here on a hot day and even on a cold one! read more

I went for ice cream and I have to say the sea turtle flavour is quite tasty. The shop is simple and they have a decent selection of flavours. The gelato is quite light, not overly sweet and overall, great quality. I would definitely recommend/come back once the weather becomes even warmer. read more

Really great ice cream. They've always got something new to try, and never disappoint. I had the birthday cake ice cream and my husband had the peach iced tea flavour. The peach iced tea tasted like a bottle of Snapple. But much better! The birthday cake was also very good. They've got a lot of variety, and, though they don't make their own cones, the cones are also delicious. The staff is friendly and happy to offer samples. Great spot. read more

tickle me impressed lola! was very fortunate to visit this location awhile ago, at the recommendation of a friend who lives in the building. it was raining a bit and we needed to get some shelter so what better thing to do then to go and get some gelato. this tiny location packs some serious flavor, the staff are super friendly and eager to serve and offer up recommendations/parings. went with a double service of the lemon gelato and was left speechless based on the flavor and how fluffy the cup of paradise was. was very happy with the experience that i had here, my only knock is that i wish the serving size was a tiny bit bigger, after i completed my dessert i really just wanted more. parking is available on the street and in some lots in the area. transit options are the 501 queen streetcar/bus and the 66B bus with a bit of a walk. definitely worth the trip and worth going out of your way for. read more

The good: Friendly owner/gelato maker, lovely/convenient setting, solid sized scoops (!!!), FREE parking in the building around the back of unit. I got 2 scoops and almost wished that I had someone to share it with OR got only 1 scoop. The flavours that I did try were a bit too sweet for me. Even the Dark Chocolate was syrupy - I didn't try this one before I decided, my bad. Also wished that it was chilled a bit more as it started melting soon after I stepped outside. Enough flavours for me to choose from. DEFINITELY try the flavours out before you commit to your order. Wouldn't be opposed to going back again if I were in the area. read more

I enjoy the gelatos here. The flavours are pretty good. I had the strawberry yogurt this time. It was tart but sweet enough. It hit the spot. The place is rather small with limited seating. There are lattes and coffee available for order as well as cookies. I haven't tried them yet so I can't rate anything other than the atmosphere and the gelatos. I'll come back for sure. There's a nice park close by and also of course the lake just a minute walk away. Great to drop in during the summer when a cold treat is due. read more

Visited Lola's Gelato a few weeks back. Been wanting to go here for a really long time but took forever to finally make it. The Gelato was excellent and prices in line with other gelato places. The only thing I was disappointed with compared to some of the best gelato places in the city was the selection. The gelato takes up about half the counter with the cafe portion on the other half. I get why they have to do that but just expected more gelato focus for a place with gelato in the name, but definitely worth visiting regardless. Parking can be a bit of a challenge in this area so it may be best to find a spot along Marine Parade Dr then walk up through the courtyard between the condos near the Firkin and Eden. My review is technically a 4.5* based on that. If they had more options then it would definitely be 5*. read more

Great little gelato spot at Lakeshore and Park Lawn. Perfect place to grab a treat on a warm summer night while walking along the lakeshore. The flavours vary and it's always hard to chose because everything is so good. The only thing lacking is a nice patio area to sit and enjoy your gelato. That being said, the lack of seating is incentive to walk the calories off. read more

Amazingly rich, smooth and flavourful gelato made fresh daily and steps from the lakeshore!! It's a Saturday and I'm up and already waiting for the gelateria to open that's how good it is. Each spoonful actually is packed with intense flavour and a divine smell and the presentation of gelato is fanciful and whimsical! I love the pristine, modern and clean ambience of the gelateria as it's a perfect backdrop to enhance it's position for the summer by the lake and adds a great juxtaposition to the rich, delightful and colourful treats presented inside!!! This will be my cause to end up on "till debt do us part" :-O Oh! Not to mention now there's espresso and hot chocolate and soups are coming soon!! I can't wait! read more

It was okay nothing special. I had some gelato which was not bad but I have better. The only good thing about this was I paid less than 4 bucks for a decent sized cup gelato. Perfect location, right by the lakefront so you grab your delicious gelato and you're good to go. I've been here a few times now since moving into the neighbourhood and the menu options always vary. Great little shop right by the lake! Tried their expresso gelato today - 1 scoop in regular cone and it was $3. Totally yummy and had an amazing coffee flavour to it.. just right and not too intense! Only thing is they don't allow fur-babies so have to leave your pooch outside for 4-5 min when you grab a cone/cup. Totally recommended for evening strolls by the lake! read more

The vibe walking in was like coming over to one of my closest friends. Jes and everyone greeted us and made sure that we got helped with our orders right away. Everyone was really friendly and approachable. The neighbourhood was also a great place to take a stroll around, so if I lived around Roncesvalles Ave and Queen this would be my go to cafe for sure. 10/10

Found a this gem of a local coffee shop while strolling in Roncy today! Cool NYC West Village…read morevibes, good coffee and awesome pastries. It's busy for a reason! Friendly staff too. The only drawback is the lack of comfortable seating and space. Definitely not a place you can hang out at for any length of time.
